Huckabee means for it to be a salvo in the GOP Culture War but my liberal Colombian wife, hates the word Latinx. In Spanish, every noun has a gender so "Latinx" is inconsistent with normal conversation. But for Huckabee, in one of her first acts, she showed that she and her white nationalist supporters are on the same page against the evil other people. This was something that she felt she needed to do right away and it tells much about her values and her supporters.

Jews are both a race and religion, lots of ethnic groups march around with whatever flag of their native country. I don't know any that are 2nd generation and up, that aren't hassidic, that identify with that ethnic part though. It's like two distinct groups to me.

Seeking court permission to withdraw is in the nature of a semi routine request when the client is a dick who is likely to stiff you on the final bill.
