Is This a problem? Seedling sprouted with NO LEAFS

Ok, I been growing/smoking for years. I never ever seen this. My little seedling sprouted with NO LEAFS. It has been up for about 3 days now, still no leafs. Whats up with this? Has anybody ever seen this before? All the others came out fine.

I tried to google it, but nothing. So...any ideas?

Yes!! Yes, same shit. I had two that way.... turned out to be the root!! Gently remove it and try and replant correctly. I was able to save one, I think I attempted after at least 5 days so good luck. Make sure to use low light strength and humidity dome to help that sucker out. When you pull it out you should see what you expected!!

haha..yep..same thing happened to me...it was the root...i dug it up and turned it around..but it ended up killing itself by snapping it's own stem when coming through the soil..RIP buddy

There might not be much I know, but I do know about upside-rootism.... actual term. That shit happened t me and I was like 'what about the leaves, after a week I turned that frown upside down and saved 1 of two... I have confidence you'll pull through. You'll have to name the plant after me,, "pot"

Thanks everyone. I will check that out. It was really weird because it didn't have its set of leafs. I am sitting there scratching my head thinking....WTF, is this plant deformed.

If it makes it potorlando, I will name it after you. Promise

Ok, I checked it out, that doesn't seem to be it. You know how when it sprouts, it has those 2 nub looking things, then the actual set of leafs in between them? Well it has those nubs, just not any leafs. So I don't think its the root. I just think its deformed and grew with only those nubs, and no leafs. Its been 4 days, and still no new growth at all, it doesn't seem to be growing at all. I will give it another day or two, then dig it up and see whats going on

at this point if it is still growing let it go, if it turns brown it is done. some seedlings are way behind

Yeah, if it has any leaf things at all then I guess don't flip it. Post a pics and I'll tell you 100%, I've stared at those roots for days waiting for leaves!!

Really? First time for me ever. Never seen this before. But yeah, I am just gonna let it go, its not doing any better, or any worse, so lets see.

No pics sorry, I know its hard to diagnose without em, but getting a new camera for xmass. Then I plan to start a journal. But it probably will be close to flower....for my 2 bigger ones that is, the other is still far behind. So if anything, my journal will start at a interesting time!

Yeah, Thats exactly my plan, I shall see what comes of it. I have 2 others in great health, and a few more coming. Hope most of them are ladies

UPDATE,

IT still has not grown any, it has not died any, its still sitting there at the same stage, I even grew another one in its place, it germinated, sprouted, and grew twice the size of that one. And what did the funky one do? Nothing, at all. Very Odd, Didn't grow any, Or didn't die any.

I Think I should pull it today,

Then the scientist in me says, Keep it going, study what it does.

What do you all think?

Thanks, yeah, its funny, because it has not grown any. Like the other person said, ifs its going, let it go, but the thing is...its not going, but since it has not died, I am gonna let it go.

Yes, some seedlings are behind, but I never ever seen one this behind.

I wont be able to post any pics till xmass, Will get a camera then. But, If its still alive then, you bet I will post it up.

Thanks for everyones comments, I am gonna just let it go, if it dies, it dies.

Haha, ya man, If it does survive, and amounts to anything, and its a female, it would be a bonus, but from what I seen so far, it probably won't happen.

Its almost what...a week and a half old, and it has done no growing. lol. Its really tiny and puny looking. Doesn't look sick, just really odd. But hey, I will see what happens. I have plenty of very healthy ones!
