Under 20 watt of led light about 3 meters away from the plants.

How far away could a plant be before it doesn't keep them in veg. Does anyone know how much light is best ?

Get a photone app. But usually if she streches for light she needs more.easy to see in seedling faze harder now
I'm not asking if it's enough for good growth. These girls get full sun all day. I want too know if any other growers have kept their plants in veg thinking the days are long under 20watt led you can see in the photo the light. I'm just curious how little light can stop flowering.

I don’t think 20watts is enough. Coming from full sun light all day it might think that 20 watts is still darkness and its a light leak. U might just confuse the girls and get attitude in the form of nanners or irregular growth pattern. Photone app will let u know how much par u getn out that light.

Think of it like this outside grows have the moon and it doesnt stop the veg.some people told me street light across the street didnt impact the flower.20w 3m souldnt make problems.

What is the accuracy?????????
Try searching a little bit more on here a lil while ago, there was a thread about accuracy of the Photone App that many people use now vs a true par meter.

I’ve seen many people also opt for a cheaper Lux meter vs a more expensive par meter.

And don’t forget the little piece of paper you have to put over your selfie camera on your phone in order for it to be accurate. It even matters what weight paper you use. This is all discussed in the thread I mentioned above.

here’s the link:

That light is fine for the extra hours. In my greenhouses I use LED rope lights (think decorations) to give tomatoes an extra couple hours of light in the Spring and Fall. It is more about the number of hours of light in a day than light intensity in your situation.

It was a rhetorical question. People keep recommending photone (and others) after being told repeatedly that readings depend entirely on the phone used.

In other words, phone apps can't be trusted!
Then spend money on a real lux meter.you want free then expect a low quality product.if you have a phone with a quality light sensor it will give good readings my lamp said 1100 on 30 cm phone said 1020 good enough for free
