Stay away from vivosun!

I just wanted to make a thread letting people know that I would avoid vivosun products if you can. I purchased their 4x4 kit and the tent was broken(zipper) beyond repair and the tent also had big holes all over it. After letting them know, they offered to send me a new tent and then they changed their mind and decided not to for no reason the very next day. After them telling me that I obviously sent back all of their gear for a full refund. Once they received their gear from me, they blocked my phone number,locked me out of my vivosun account, and stopped responding to my emails. (if you havent gathered yet, they tried taking off with my money). Fortunately my bank was able to reverse the charge and went after them for their money back. At that point, they were trying to give me a refund. All in all they drug this whole process out for 2 months. I have plenty of emails I could post on here for proof of their absolutely god awful customer service but im sure someone else on here has had a similar experience with them so I dont feel its necessary. They are a super shady company and if you value your sanity as well as all of your gear, STAY AWAY FROM VIVOSUN!

Thay sucks man, sorry you dealt with that. They sell "iffy" quality products and this isn't the first bad experience I've read about, but probably the worst.

You'll pay more, but AC Infinity won't do you like that, pretty sure.

Yeah, i wish i was making it up. I ended up going with Mars Hydro.

Out of curiosity, what was your correspondence like? Were you "short" with Vivosun out of frustration? --not that it makes it OK for them to ghost you, just wondering.

Be advised, Mars has a similar if not slightly better rep than Vivosun.

I have dealt with Vivosun through their site, here, and on Amazon. Never had an issue. Their gear isn't top tier, but its also not priced that way, but mine has all been nice and had zero issues. I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. Sorry to hear that you had such a rough go at it.

I agree with @PopAndSonGrows
I haven't tried any of the ones they have now, but if Ac Infinity manages to put a decent light together one day it'd be really difficult trying to find a reason to not buy a complete kit from them.

Just great. 3 members have had scorch marks on their lights from shorts in the last year here. Only time they made things right were when people posted public on social media about the issues.

Been using a TSL 2000 for a little over 2 years but i had two of those oscillating clip fans crap-out at 2 weeks and 6 months respectively, one almost caught fire *edit: my mistake, the fans were Vivosun but my Mars light is still kickin ass

I bought a vivosun tent off amazon for drying. I didnt have very high expectations since they are almost half the cost of a Gorilla grow tent, but it works fine for my needs. There arent any big holes all over it but I do think the zippers could be better.

can confirm, my veg tent is Vivosun and the zipper is crap. Every day is a struggle and if I'm not careful it gets caught. Definitely time for a tent upgrade.
With that said, I'm still happy my Mars Hydro TS3000 is still rocking solid after 2 and a half years. Big fan of the dimmer and the drivers you can mount outside the tent - damn - come to think of it, my bloom tent is falling apart too time to upgrade soon

I bought a 6inch vivosun inline fan and it was way to noisy to operate...ended up giving it away. Went with ACinfinity instead and am a happy camper. I haven't had dealings with the company reps, but I am not a fan of vivosun quality, so will not be purchasing from them again. ACinfinity, definitely...their stuff is high quality and reasonably priced.

Have 2 small vivosun tents and like everything about them except the zipper.

The 2 thin fabric "flaps" cross over each other and end up in the zipper teeth if careful attention is not paid.

If the flaps are not layered properly it causes a light leak as well.

Are you comparing apples to apples here?

Was the vivosun sold as a quiet fan?
Just most fans are not close to being as quiet as AC infinity fans

No. I saw how they grow the big colas with photoshop. And the burned electric connectors.

That sucks. I have read a lot of complaints about their zippers. No problems with my iPower.

Yeah. That's nit picking for sure. It isn't hard to run a finger with the zipper to ensure its good.

Most zippers are similar

I was trying to actually get my money back lol so I was calm and cool with them for the first 99% of us talking and emailing..up until I had to mention them seeming like they were about to do what they ultimately ended up trying to do right after lol. They also decided the brand new tent they sold me directly through them was so jacked up they didnt even want it back to see or anything, they were more concerned with putting it on me to have to throw it away lol. I cant speak for amazon stuff, people probably dont have to deal with the company directly in that regard..
