Doesn’t include this week’s update but anyone doubting Germany’s commitment:
War in Ukraine: This list provides an overview of Germany’s lethal and non-lethal military support for Ukraine.

Also:
US has roughly 4x the population of Germany and gave roughly 4x as much too. Same for Poland and Canada, per capita there’s far less difference than the above graph suggests. Relatively, NL gives twice as much per person as the forementioned. But then when you look at gdp it’s all different again, but then one of the main reasons that gdp amounts to anything is Germany.
As for generous members in the east, main reason they have money to spare is cause they get billions in EU support paid by tax payers in the north and west. Any future economic problems or budget shortages are indirectly covered by a handful of healthy economies in west europe.
Another year, just first I grabbed, showing most net beneficiaries with Poland recieving more than any other:
So next time Poland bitches about Germany holding out or using their brains instead of feelings before make decisions, keep in mind the amount of financial support from Germany to Poland is about as large as Poland’s support to Ukraine.
And while I’m at it:
After almost a year of war with Russia, EU citizens still predominantly support Ukraine and the EU’s approach to the crisis. Despite the political, social, and economic costs, EU citizens stand firm behind democracy and appear willing to make sacrifices for it.

Average of 74%, for Germany 73%, undoubtedly cause the eastern former soviet part brings it down.
Media loves to speculate on what happens when there’s not enough support anymore, people getting war-tired and other nonsense. It’s almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. Ukraine is fighting for the only reason many Europeans still see as a legit one. Not religion, not oil, but
gas their land.
