Oh grow up! It got loose from it's truck and is trying to find her home which is why it's following and trying to get in a house..lady is complaining and the turkey is just standing there..it wants to go home.

Perhaps if they weren't so selfish about they're being 'put out' in their fine looking trailer mc mansions..?

They also act like they've never heard of animal control..Coon Rapids they probably don't have one.

Someone in the neighborhood is feeding her and she gives character to the place, just a bit of management is required. Wild animals should not be slain on sight, but accommodated when we can and not seen as varmints so readily. We can afford to respect them a bit more.

i like having animals around, we see rabbits, coyote, musk rats, turkey, deer and black bear all the time, and the only time i ever get disturbed at all is if the bears are trying to get into the garbage. Usually just opening the door and yelling at them will get rid of them, never had one act aggressively.
dunno why anyone would be upset about a turkey, but if people don't actively feed them, they wander a big circuit, and they would probably only see them once or twice a week.

Seven old warbirds just passed by, including a MiG-17 in bright red livery. A T-38 (or F-5), four T-33s or lookalike (one with yellow and black diagonal stripes under the wings), and a WWII fighter, not a Mustang, but with an inline engine.

'I got up and looked outside and there a guy hunting a tree with pulley bow..umm we do have a food bank. Car came around the corner and he quickly set out walking. Almost bought it on the ice.'

Not to the hoitie toities that live on that street- it's canal is deep water ocean access brackish if not all salt it's that close..those people aren't selling.

It's a big problem for them..personally I'm okay with where they live.

Although it does happen, it is not frequent that a female has a beard. That turkey has a short beard, so it's likely a juvenile male, also known as a Jake - the adults are Toms. Only bearded birds are permitted to be harvested during May and October. They have colour 270° vision, good hearing despite no external ears, and a brain the size of a pea.

They are absolutely delicious, right beside the mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts and cranberries.

The peacocks only spend half the day there and disappear early afternoon to somewhere no one seems to know; they're back again in the morning.

actually, they do, and guinea hens make even better ones...you walk within 20 feet of one at night and they go off, which makes the rest of them go off as well. i always knew when our neighbors with guinea hens had company....
