Not true. Here's some evidence, a VAERS report, and a couple of doctor's notes:

You can look up the VAERS report yourself on the CDC website. This alone debunks Forbes' "fact checking" (Wired claimed that they couldn't find a VAERS report).
Well I should have worded my question better so I’ll try again. How does this have anything remotely to do with the vaccine? You seem to be trying to prove you made the right choice, and feel the need to justify it over and over again. Why? I am seriously intrigued by this?

Here's what Wired used on Jan 23rd 2021 to "debunk" Desselle's story:

Note this portion of the article:

It's so weird that they didn't find the VAERS report, which shows on the CDC website to have been submitted on Jan 20, 2021 (3 days before the article came out), but I'm able to see it on the CDC website right here:

You'd think that two years later, knowing that they were clearly wrong, that they would issue a retraction.
Those bastards lol.

Everyone needs to make the right choice for themselves. My point isn't meant to justify my own personal decision, but more intended to bring awareness to the things which are falsehoods propagated by the mainstream media, and also to bring awareness to the very real possibility of serious adverse side effects to a vaccine which has long been promised as "safe and effective", which is a selective promise at best.

Maybe you missed this part?

No not at all. Perhaps you missed this was done by telemedicine and not in person. I could be mistaken but my understanding is that statement was made by the patient and not a medical diagnosis. It’s a vague piece of paper. IMO I think you are actually presenting more anecdotal “stories” then fact but you’ve made a great choice. Yay!

Sounds strangely similar, doesn't it? Again, not saying she didn't have an adverse reaction, but there are more questions.

Telemedicine was required due to the lockdown at that point in time, as referenced on the document. We won't be able to conclusively determine the truth based on a few documents, to that I agree. Point is, I did look into it past that one article, and I do have evidence which supports the strong possibility of truth. I also presented to you, what the mainstream media said was not available (her VAERS report), which is how they incorrectly determined her case to be "debunked".

Second eyebrow is raised:
Wants to tell the world about adverse reactions without even having the basic facts straight. Also claims to want privacy of details that would corroborate her story?

Mouth open:
The doctor she trusts just happens to be pushing alternative treatments that has had his research pulled from the journals he was trying to publish in because of using incorrect data.

Totally shocked: And then getting in on some of that MAGA grift

You want to believe her story, go ahead. There are certainly a lot of questions - agreed?

we're old guys mostly...this is what we do. we used to have to wander down to the barber shop to have anyone to debate with, but now we just have to come here...we know we aren't going to change each others minds, but that hasn't stopped us for several thousand years.
sorry if that irritates you, but it's just the way old guys are.

I’m not sure why it matters? Are you hoping for cutting edge debate that changes the heart and soul of the people here? When someone posts false and misleading info it should be countered, and it seems that it what is happening IMO. Besides it’s winter and snow is deep and it’s really cold here, there is nothing to do lol.

at some point its no longer a debate and just two people constantly going back and forth that follows under thread derailment and arguing and ruins the forum for the other users. it becomes a tunnel vision of two people who constantly have to have the last word and argue with eachother

this is my nice way of saying we can stop continually doing this everyday for weeks now on end.

So what? But why do you care? Nothing against TOS; they're just talking getting to meat and bone- this is debate..if you're going to complain all the time then maybe RIU should get rid of Politcs?

You're killing it for us.

I've posted regularly on this "Pandemic" thread,to me it's kind of a retro argument on pro/con of vaccination. All I know is we entered a unprecedented situation and all non essential commerce shit down. I watched people dying in overburdened ICU units who couldn't even see loved ones in their dying days. Vaccine developement was put on fast forward, desperate times = desperate measures. As the situation evolved and science started to gain a foothold it became accepted knowledge that seniors, cancer survivors, and people w/compromised immune systems were more vulnerable to this virus, and those in close contact w/these people also had to be careful. I was one of these people, when the vaccines got rolled out w/expedited trials I watched virtually all medical personnel eagerly roll up their sleeves. That was all the coaching I needed to follow suit and I've now gotten 5 shots,as time and science and the virus itself has evolved vaccines have shown not to be a silver bullet though still beneficial. Those in the minority that experienced symptoms from the shots has all been publicly admitted as well as the mfg's themselves being forthright about potential side effects. In the end, w/foresight as a benefit,I have NO REGRETS and would do the same thing if it played out the way it did all over again. Those who got the shots mostly did so out of love and concern for the people around them considered weaker or more at risk.

RIU should get rid of Politcs?
Or do what other large social media sites do, add the spreading of potentially lives endangering covid misinformation to the TOS or automatically include a notice to a list with common misconceptions, conspiracy theories and anti-vaxxers misnformation. Not getting vaxxed is an individual choice, spreading bs reasoning concerns everyone and letting it spread is irresponsible and guilt by inaction.

Arguing isn’t a goal, it’s a means to refute bs. The bs-er‘s mind doesn’t have to be changed. Can’t change the pope’s mind either and everytime he repeats bs it should be countered.

Canada's death toll from stupid assholes believing and spreading bullshit on social media.

This^^
