Can i leave exhaust fan off and open my tent?

If my temps and humidity are good, can I leave my exhaust fan off and just open the top half of my 5x5 tent until flower? I do have an intake fan running 24x7.

Fair enough. Personally I would leave the exhaust on and turn off the intake, and close up the tent, but that's just me. Carry on.

I find with exhaust on, my humidifier never stops running

Sure, as long as your tent isn't part of your lighting scheme (aka you use it to make sure that it's fully dark when you want, etc.).

Time to look into a fan setup that either has auto fan speed control or a timed situation so that your fan doesn't remove all your humidity.

Definitely more important, but some are pretty tight on their veg too when it comes to wanting x-number of dark hours vs. x-number of light hours, whether that be 18-6 or 20-4, etc.

As long as you stay with in the proper lighting time during veg it's perfectly fine.
