That's where authoritarians get it wrong. No, the President is not "in control" of the Generals. That is not "how it works". The Generals you speak of gave an oath to protect this country, not to Trump or Biden. Circling back to the idiotic complaint MAGA are voicing about Biden not shooting down the balloon. His military advisors told him the risk that balloon posed to this country and particularly to this country's security was not worth risking lives and property on the ground. A good leader is bound to follow that kind of advice or lose faith with his advisors.

Trust goes both ways. MAGA have broken the trust. Not just in this instance but especially in this one. They would have put lives of other people on the ground at risk to assuage their unreasonable fear. In other words, cowardice. One thing that disgusts a soldier is cowardice. They might follow the orders of a coward but they won't follow him.

Identify who is weak through the following statements:

China: Provocative and deliberate violation of US airspace by flying a spy balloon into Montana and across the eastern US. Expresses anger when US shoots it down while still over US waters. .
MAGA: ANGRY!!!!! Kill that balloon now. We'll hunt down and kill all their balloons all over the world, "who gives a fuck" if China is provoked
Biden and US military: It aint about nothin. Let's watch it and learn about China's spy tech. Shoot it down before it leaves US waters and learn more from analysis of the debris.
