There are other parties: Green Party, Libertarian Party, Constitution Party, Alliance Party, etc.
Honestly, I can see many Trump supporters being disenfranchised Independents. Trump isn't really a Republican anyway, don't forget that he used to be a Dem. He's just a grifter that saw a path towards power, and seized it.

Well if any kind of foreign/domestic conspiracy actually exists to "dumb down" American voters via the engine of social media it seems to have been successful,what is befuddling is that people seem to cast a vote for a pol who dangles a couple issues they agree with but is otherwise repulsive in character. Prior to the social media phenomenon most voters would reject someone like that,their moral compass would lead them to a "I agree w/a couple of these policies but this person just gives me the creeps,I don't want pols of this fabric representing my country". this premise no longer exists and now a vile lot of pols of despicable nature now inhabit Washington.

Biden's goal to balance the budget is still a valid policy goal but he's handcuffed by the debt incurred after the GOP crashed the economy in 2007 and then again in 2020. Keep in mind that the solution to inflation is unemployment, lower wages and higher interest rates. Biden has to work within the circumstances of our times and the GOP handed us all a dog's dinner. Deficit spending smooths over the rough patches. And Republicans blame the Democrats for reacting to GOP incompetence.

He's only cut the deficit. Trump expanded the deficit by 25% in just four years. MAGA GOP are hardly the ones to give advice. Suggest Republicans watch and learn instead of kibitzing like bleacher bums at a Yankee's game.
If they don't want to or are unable to learn, maybe they should just get drunk and sleep it off.
