Growing Mushrooms

Anybody here grow shrooms that can shed some light on a question I have? Can I use a isolated spore syringe on a grain bag or is an isolated syringe used for other things? I got a isolated albino p*nis envy syringe and it barely had anything in it, definitely don't look like enough to use on a 3lb grain bag

You can use a spore syringe for anything. I personally don't use store bought grain bags. I do make my own grain bags for larger grows. For finding a particular monoculture for a master slant. I use jars. How many ccs are you talking about? What do you mean barely anything in it ? Like not many spores floating like you want to see a clump? And it's barely got any spores in it? Or barely has any liquid?

It just takes a couple of drops to inoculate a Mason jar.

The isolated syringe increases the likelihood of growing mushrooms with desirable characteristics, like the albino p*nis envy strain you mentioned. As for the amount in the needle, it's possible that it was intentionally low to reduce the risk of contamination during inoculation. The way I get it you look at the syringe and since you see nothing you take there's nothing in it.

Be aware that spores are microscopic in size and that if you can see anything floating in the syringe those are clusters which are not bad but also not really what you're after because you want broad, not local, inoculation.

Also, if you have time, very little is enough.
