Ive put most if my time into predators the past several yrs as it was getting hard to cut any track that wasn’t coyote . Plenty of deer but they get on em faster than me lol

I've seen a handful. A couple were probably the same ones though. I always wanted to see one and use to think I could take one on if I saw him coming. Then one day I was smoking a cig outside and saw this fucker in the corner of my eye jump from our driveway into our neighbors yard and grab a cat. It was less than a second. He had to have jumped at least 15 feet down this little slope.

The cat went "REE", and it was toast. The lion walked down between our houses in my yard, closer to me. Sat down under a tree and watched me as he ate it. Took him less than a minute and no more kitty. He just chilled there and didn't give a shit I was 10 yards away. I yelled at him and it took a little bit for him to decide to nonchalantly walk down the hill. That one was back again looking for more cats, but luckily my cat was smart.

I have a much greater respect for those cats now. I've dealt with plenty bears too. Those guys are getting too smart. They know how to get in cars now if you don't lock them, :lol:

We had resident Mountain Lions, Bobcats, Foxes, and Bears on our farm. The crew would catch them on the trail cams all the time....kept the boys on their toes. They found bear tracks inside one of the greenhouses when they left the door opened one night..

I almost got my ass kicked by a black bear that was in our garage once as I was chasing him out too. The males can get way more aggressive, especially at certain times of year. Lesson learned, :lol:

I've always been told that they aren't in VA, but I know a couple older hunters that swear they've seen them. These are experienced woodsmen so I'm pretty sure they were right. I've only seen one bobcat in the over 20 years I've been here but I hear them at night a couple times a year.
