Then have to wait bit more. 4th nodes just growing now. Probably 4-5 days later i will top them from 5th node.5th node down to 4th node then strech them all 4 sides
I have outtake connected to cooltube? Small intake at ground for give some air through fabric pots.why do you have a fan on the intake and not on the out take?
A big fan taking all air from tent through cooltube then out of window. Pic i shared as big beast is my outtake fan. Connected to cooltube. When i close tent i had to open passive intakes. If i don't do that tent pulls in so bad.but no fan at top is it passive or?
Bottom fan for giving some air through fabric pots to aerate soil. Because i am used to start and finish in final pot due to growing autos. So i started in final medium and took me 10 days to get soil fully dry after first watering and saturating pot. So i thought extra air could be helpful for giving some air through pots. You don’t need that bottom fan if your top fan can build negative pressure in you tent. I started with DWC though so it’s possible. Learning soil was actually harder for me because it’s not just nutrient ratios and understanding NPK elements with their def and tox signs. Where as soil you need to have a decent understanding of the way nutrients break down to become plant available, microbial life and bacterial life balances, rhizosphere, BUGS!!, dryback time and water volume ratios, Etc. I can send you links to download all 3 “Teaming with” book. (I have download links for 42 horticulture books) shoot me a message if you want a list.
I just did a first hydro grow with the gh waterfarm. Pretty quiet and easy for a first timer.Bottom fan for giving some air through fabric pots to aerate soil. Because i am used to start and finish in final pot due to growing autos. So i started in final medium and took me 10 days to get soil fully dry after first watering and saturating pot. So i thought extra air could be helpful for giving some air through pots.
My last watering was 2 days ago and now pot gets dry faster than first one. I think roots helping to evaporate faster.
Yeah i want to try RDWC but i have to finish that grow. Then i will decide if i want to start or not. After some researches everyone says that pumps and other equipments are bit noisy. If so i can't do that. If i start RDWC i want to do 4 or 6x big reservoirs and change to LED. I am looking to FC8000 now. It's jaw dropping yields
If i decide to go for RDWC i will message you for sure. Thanks mate.
On my first grow, my two plants stems got broken and fall off. So i tie them to keep straight I am able to keep them in veg 5 weeks more. So 5 weeks more i will flip and let them grow with LST training and scrog net. Total 7,5 - 8 weeks of veg will be enough to have big plants i think.is that string just soo they dont run away or do you plan to train? bend them a little hahah
dont worry about number of leafs new strains got soo much crossbreeding you get to see everything.
and dont worry about the size you are a few days late but after day 20 she will jump speed and go faster.allsoo when you decide to flip one day it will start growing like insane
I never meter runoff. Neither ph or ec. Doesn't seem like you could ever get an accurate measurement. Especially for ph.Okay update time.
Day 20. Actually i was going to update tomorrow so end of week 3. But my TDS meter is still in shipping status. Estimated delivery time is 4 days later. I wanted to do watering with TDS meter but well one more chart-using watering and here we are.
At least i know something. pH of water and nutrient solution was 6.5 and first time i check for runoff pH and it is 6.9! So little bit high next time i will go for 6.3 pH and check runoff again.
They are still going a bit slow but they look very healthly now. Comparing with day 20 of my autos and almost same size with my past auto indicas. God's Glue is also indica dominant plant. So i was making a mistake to compare them with sativa dominant (white widow auto) plants. Everyday learning something new.
Here is how we are atday 20.
