See what I mean? Once the panda film was added there was no place for air to enter. I had this slab pushed all the way to the back too, so only the front 2x6 area was exposed.

This is why the prototype mist box worked much better than the ones covered in panda film, but it didn't work as well as I had expected.

Plus with the cubes sitting in the tray as opposed to on top of the slab, the rootball will stay moist and get flushed with the watering cycles instead of relying on osmosis, which lead to salt buildup and / or drying around the rootball. Plus it gives me a couple of extra inches of overhead in the grand scheme of things.

Everything is setup and the scrogs are down. I'm going to give them a couple of days to adjust. They were pretty beat up from outgrowing their cubes and getting too much dryback between waterings, but they were responding well to the frequent mistings since I put the lids on. Actually what happened is they wilted a little the night I moved them into the flower tent. I forgot about that. I pulled the dry leaves and ended up pruning pretty heavily since I hadn't lowered the scrogs and had easy access. Regardless, I'm going to give them a little more time.

I'm all caught up on everything grow related. The only thing I need to do is clone my Grumpz mothers to determine their sex, but there's no rush. I'm also out of rockwool, but I might just crowd them into a pot of coco. They will only be alive for a few weeks anyway.
