They can make a "see saw" pedal with a center pivot point so that pushing down on the front translates to the shift arm moving up, and vice versa.only need to push down
The ski resorts near here have a 10-20' base with more on the way.Mornin
It's raining but snow on the weekend 14"+ I hope my ankle gets better for that.
How's it going so far? Hope everyone has a great day
I met a guy that has wheels that come down as the bike slows to a stop that look like big fat training wheels on a bicycle. It supports the bike at a stop so you don't have to put a leg down. As you get up to speed from a stop they automatically lift up out of the way. He has a shift mechanism that works like a see saw. He rocks it forward to upshift and backwards to downshift. Hope it works out well for him.Thats awesome. I think as long as they can hold it up when they have to stop, they can adapt to different controls.
I have that on my V Star. I was having trouble shifting because my back issues and this is the rocker set-up from the factory. Caught my son going for a drive in this pic. They can make a "see saw" pedal with a center pivot point so that pushing down on the front translates to the shift arm moving up, and vice versa.

My only choice is fusion surgery and some rods but I'm trying to postpone that as long as possible as my first surgery made it worse. I used to drive him to school once a week on it and he was the coolest kid in 1st grade lol.First off he needs his own that is apparent lol sorry to here that you are having issues with your back are there any plans for a fixs?
That I understand completely fortunately my surgery went well plates in my neck with rod in my lower back here hoping that you will be able to get it right when you decide to get it doneMy only choice is fusion surgery and some rods but I'm trying to postpone that as long as possible as my first surgery made it worse. Pingel electric shift kit.Morning.
I'm meeting with guy this morning about altering my brothers bike for him. He's new amputee (below the left knee) and this guy is confident he can fabricate something to make shifting easier. From what I understand, all shifting would be down, 1-6, and he'd only need to push down with his heel. So I'm guessing they'll move the shifter back to mid controls from the extended forwards he's got? I'm probably not explaining this well...still on my first cup of coffee.
I really hope this is doable.
It's like a temporary kill switch to enable the tranny to be unloaded so it will go into gear. I believe the pro stock drag motorcycles either use that or air to shift.electric stuff happens in the engine too.

I have it on my Harley, basically, on my left thumb I have up and down button... a solenoid shifts and electric stuff happens in the engine too.
Mine is used for drag racing as I cannot get feet onto pegs fast enough to shift to 2nd.
