Probably because so many reports of hermaphrodites across all those chucks over the last two years. The hype has worn out.
I grew out a few feminized King Sherbs a few years ago. They were large lanky plants that took a long time to finish. Quality was nice. Just giving you a little feedback.Just got finished with my first ever IHG run, Jelly Sickle.
From the moment I started trying to germ these seeds they grew horribly. The 4 I popped DID all germ eventually, but they just were so just so slow at every stage. I actually trashed 2 thinking they were dead as seedlings, I'm still not sure, I was growing other genetics right next to them just fine..
So of course the 2 that made it to flower both turn out great, one pheno hands down the best looking/smelling stuff I've ever grown. The description of this strain mentions bag appeal and it is really amazing. Frost everywhere and all kinds of color. Even with how bad this grew, I wish I had a clone. Its the first time I really feel like I grew something special. Now I'm trying to germ my last seed and already ordered some Sugar Cane to try out next.. Also have 4 King Sherb freebies from when I bought these I'm excited to try.
thats awesome thanks for the heads up! yea the deals are way bigger in canadian dollars due to the exchange rate i just scored a pack of sugar cane basically $150 cad off a full packMarch Madness sale right now, 40% off select packs and half-packs through official vendors. Sales like these are the only times I buy IHG anymore, I won't pay full price. I generally load up when they have these sales a few times per year and go hubting for keepers. I expect to have to sift theough herms, but have no issues with that @ $80/CAD per pack. Snagging some King Kush Breath v2 for sure, and trying to decide between GASper, Platinum Valley and Glazed Pastries.
In House Genetics seems to have alot of Herms. I've never grown anything from them and probably won't because of it.are there many reports of herm on the Platinum kush line as well?
Float tech ... That's hilarious! Good one!
In the real world viable seeds sink.
Soak seeds in a quarter full solo cup, with a drop or two of bloom nutrient or the like, for 24 hours. Then sow seeds 1/2" deep in quality seed starting mix, like Coast of Maine or Fox Farm Light Warrior.
For greatest growth rate potential, place pots on a heat mat under good quality light set to 18 hours on and 6 hours off.
Heat from the bottom of the pot produces amazing growth. As farmers say, wait until soil warms, never sow in cold soil.
Meh. A day in a shot glass or wet paper towel and into the grow medium once the seed cracks. Pointless "tech" IMO.Try to post link
Im just flowering some pkbr and some of them really stretch quite a lot.middle bottom is a platinum kush breath remix. I’m gonna flip next week just waiting for a stupid runt Dante’s inferno to get bigger
I did see your post about that a bit ago, it did make me worry…Im just flowering some pkbr and some of them really stretch quite a lot.
Love the training! I'm just starting on mainlining, seems like a great way to get an even canopy.Blue Java (Garlicane x Jelly Breath) and Jellysickle (Purple Punch x Jelly Breath) on day 16 of flower
