That’s an ermine, essentially a weasel. They’ll eat any small animal they can catch… only what they can eat and leave carcass. Chickens stand no chance, or rabbits for that matter. They can go thru wire no problem.

You forgot to mention what lovely coats they make for redheads.

Lessons I learned tobogganing
1. The biggest person should be brakeman (one of the 2 or 3 guys not the skinny chick) who talked you into doing it, and
2. If you are moving efficiently and rapidly downhill toward a tree and you put your feet out to brake you remain in the snow (this would be the place for a physics lesson on momentum), and,
3. Trees are hard (aren't you glad you're about 3' away when you started 'braking').

Thanks, I've heard good things about the Blumat system but I've never seen one other than the carrot end of one in pics before. I love the mutant plants, they can be fun after seeing the same thing over and over again in the garden.
