When I was playing tennis regularly years ago, I used to wear a bandana so sweat wouldn't blind me. One time when waiting to return serve my buddy pointed at me at yelled, "LOOK OUT!!!" I instinctively ducked, which was the right reaction. Turned out a hawk mistook the tail of my bandana at the back of my head for a small animal and swooped down at me to snatch it. Could have torn some of my scalp, I'm sure. Urban tennis, you never knew what was going to happen...
The only bird I could talk to was ducks and geese. In a blind. Found out is was more important to shut up with the duck call at the right time.I can make the owl noise and get them to talk back to me. I hear multiple birds on different perches talking in the evenings. I'd probably wet myself if one of them flew down to see me when I am doing that. Them puppies are LARGE.
Ummm. They are not scaring off the doves....We've got a couple of great horned owls that talk back and forth between my house and the neighbors. I had given up running off the doves that want to nest in our patio rafters. Well the doves attract the owls which scare off the doves. Nature knows best
A friend with a very red nose has had a hummingbird in his face a few times thinking it's a feeder. When I was playing tennis regularly years ago, I used to wear a bandana so sweat wouldn't blind me. I had a young female fly up in my face and hover for a bit. Kinda freaked me out but I think she was just trying to figure out what I was. She was definitely in my personal space.A friend with a very red nose has had a hummingbird in his face a few times thinking it's a feeder.
When I was in the CG we were working a shore aid to navigation on a 24' tower that had a big eagle nest in it. Had my watch cap knocked off my head by one of the adults & needed a couple staples to close the gash. They got pissy & nearly knocked me off that tower. When I was playing tennis regularly years ago, I used to wear a bandana so sweat wouldn't blind me. Another buddy from up north has rosacea on his entire face - so it's quite red all the time. His own son calls him furnace face - reference to the devil perhaps.
He was down in Florida watching a pro golf tournament and one of the competitors came up to him and said I've seen lobster not as red as your face. Guessing he was concerned that he'd been in the sun too long, which wasn't the case.

Is a razor blade still the best way to... do whatever it is you do to that to make it usable? Or is it just the most cool looking? *clearly knows all the drugs o.o*
No very red parts here. But speaking of cartoons, I do miss Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd and Slowpoke Rodriguez - he was always high AF.You have some cartoonish friends. Any very red parts on you we should know about???
That brings back some memories sitting in them cars with the back seat, loved riding with cousin or friends in. Totally forgot about slowpoke, lolNo very red parts here. But speaking of cartoons, I do miss Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd and Slowpoke Rodriguez - he was always high AF.
I did fall out of the back of a rear facing seat of a red station wagon (Crysler Sports Suburban with a 360), with wood panels, while going over the railway tracks once - in grade three iirc - that caused some red body parts and had me missing some school that had red bricks. The rear door wasn't latching when we left our uncle's place, so I just held it shut. While going over the track, the door swung open and I wasn't smart enough to just let it go, so out I tumbled. Dad apologized for it when I was in my forties. I can't imagine how that event tormented him with guilt for all those years. That's life! Fascinating what we experience, endure, overcome and live to tell about. That event is attributed to my Spondylolisthesis.
