LOL funny story. One of my supervisors/ mentors, who has since passed away, actually paid off the rest of my loan on my first car. In exchange for going to this ex-wife's house and shutting off the gas at the meter in the middle of the night. Looking back, quite possibly the most fucked up thing I've ever done in my life.

I am remorseful about it. I'm not proud of myself. But it was like 1,200 bucks worth of loan. And I was like 18. And 1200 bucks at 18 is a lot of money.

I've posted about this sweet girl before but we had mom with a litter of pups out at our gravel pit by the shop. One of the loader operators, an older man named Danny, could hand feed the mom. She'd hop up beside him at coffee break and again at lunch. The pups stayed a ways back but mom wasn't even a little bit timid. She even came inside the garage a few times and took a nap. They were like old friends.

They use to mess with my dog and steal his toys until one day I let him off his chain. He chased it back to their den, found his toys and brought them home one at a time. They're cool though.
