And a few i know have and also many respected breeders say they have too n however i think if we were to genetically test these "males" found in s1s i think we would find there herms just very very male leaning i could be wrong but id be curious to see the results if anyone ever does itYes, most definitely happened to me
Regardless, it really ruins your dayAnd a few i know have and also many respected breeders say they have too n however i think if we were to genetically test these "males" found in s1s i think we would find there herms just very very male leaning i could be wrong but id be curious to see the results if anyone ever does it
My feminized fruity chronic juice that end up being a full blown male she was grown outside
Yeah but when it happens if we sequenced its genes do you think it be 100% male? I know its theoretically possible using todays current knowledge but im still not a believer entirely i think if these males come from s1s and not random pollen mix ups or contamination they wont be true males genetically if u test them i could be wrong of course hopefully one day we get the awnserIt can happen. Most people dont realize there is a reason they are called feminised seed and not just female. Out of hundreds or maybe a thousand or few there is always the risk of a full male popping up.
But as the op was suggesting/asking, just because there are male plants around it wont suddenly turn your feminised plants into full blown males.

That's what i wonder too yeah its not currently been researched in cannabis very much i know with other plants its possibleIn probably most cases they are probably herms displaying mostly male. But the possibilities of having a full blown male are always there. Could be some sort of built in survival mechanism. All it would take is one male in a field of thousands of females for the genetics to survive to the next generation. Im not sure how well its been looked into scientifically. What would be the genetics of a feminised plant ? Im sure in some way it would still cary xy, perhaps feminised would xyx, but the technical stuff isnt my thing.
All it would take is one hermaphrodite in a field of thousands of females for the genetics to survive to the next generation.
How do you get a full blown male with no male chromosome?Feminized seeds are not 100% guaranteed to be female, and the likelihood of getting a full-on male is roughly 1%. Although low, still possible.
As stated, you're more likely to get an unstable hermaphrodite rather than a true male. My opinion? --unless you're growing for profit or growing meds for patients, I wouldn't worry about this too much. Worst likely thing that'll happen is you might get a few seeds in your bud, big whoop, it won't affect personal head-smoke.
Show me where feminized seeds are guaranteed 100%How do you get a full blown male with no male chromosome?
Wasnt trying to be argumentative. Just thought x*y=x or y. x*x=x, y*y=y.Show me where feminized seeds are guaranteed 100%
To answer your question; by an inattentive breeder who didn't catch a male in the mix when making seeds
Nor was i. I get your point and it's valid for sureWasnt trying to be argumentative. Just thought x*y=x or y. x*x=x, y*y=y.

I really dont grow fem beans very often, but the few times i have its been all girls.Nor was i. I get your point and it's valid for sure
I only grow fems and it was the first and only time fwiwI really dont grow fem beans very often, but the few times i have its been all girls.
The few beans i have found trimming have been female as well.
That definitely isnt a herm.I only grow fems and it was the first and only time fwiw
