Got another covid boost yesterday, first since last October, not for the latest strain, but I figure it should help if I catch the bug. There were a bit less than 1 in 1000 positive tests in April, 895 positive PCR tests (pop 1 million) 89 hospitalizations and 12 deaths. Covid is still around, still making people sick and still fucking over people who catch it.

I am just happy that as of Monday the hospitals I work out of dropped the masking policy. For the first time since this all started I am not stuck with a wet mask that makes it more difficult to breath and impossible to be comfortable. Still required in patient areas but not in back halls and such.
