We don't need to get too excited about this, it's just prosecutors charging another asshole with a crime, it happens every day of the week and Donald is nothing special as far as the law is concerned. Equality under the law begins with indictment, not before, prosecutors have broad prosecutorial discretion, once it's in front of a judge, it is in front of the law and there is nothing in the law about Ex presidents and politics no longer applies.
