Good on ya, ciggies like to do tiny stabs to your lungs until they leak to much for you to live (anecdotal from mom who did a die from cigs) so you know, stahp. Try yoga, and edibles, or whatever....

I got patches, gum and a nicotine Vape. I've been straight riding on the Vape all day. I feel like it's kind of cheating. And that I actually haven't quit anything. But also feel that it's cleaner and just easier to manage. And more socially acceptable. Yeah health and money are my two biggest motivators. Ain't getting any younger. And cigarettes ain't getting any cheaper. Sorry to hear about your mom. My dad got lung cancer back in 2015. And I still couldn't quit. But to take one of my favorite quotes from my favorite TV shows.. it only ends once, anything that happens up until then is just progress.

Yeah, he's still here. He got sick and went in the hospital in the middle of my parents retiring to Florida. So my mom moved down there without him. He basically laid in a hospital bed for like a month and forgot how to walk. So he came and lived with me while doing PT and stuff. And then once he was able to be moved I flew him down to Florida. And now they're both living the dream.
It sounds like he had a rough time, but now he is in a fucking warm place, doing better drugs than me. Jealous!

Quitting nicotine stinks and folks tend to get just a wee bit cranky. My wife quit when she found out she was pregnant and between the pregnancy hormones and the nicotine withdrawal I was glad to be 3 states away doing military training. I was sad to miss the birth of our daughter though. Army said we didn't issue you a kid so we're not giving a shit about them being born. Thankfully she had my family around her.
i am only making fun of neo because he is a goof, and it makes me happy when he is on the backfoot. Shrugging off the heavy addiction of cigs and nicotine is wonderful! I truly hope you and yours are doing well, and vibing with healthy lungs!
