Awesome man, thanks for the input. Sounds like a beast of a plant. You have pics posted somewhere? Like to see how your chems structure, leaves, etc look compared to the ones I have. No on the RO water here, haven't ever had issues with water quality, good water where I live. I do filter for chlorine and then let it sit for a day or two as well and also aerate my water prior to watering with a drill and mixing paddle. Use the paddle to mix up teas and feed too, works great.I've got a chemdawg 39 days into flower that I vegged for nearly 2 months in Dwc! She's a monster. Topped her once and supercropped her about 5 times. She was about 5 foot tall before initiating 12/12. Much to some people's horror i use advanced nutrients ph perfect haha. And gave her nothing but veg nutes through growth (around 800 - 900ppm) shes currently under a big scrog net beside a Ww x bb and a lemon og kush. I'm running about 1200ppm of bloom nutes with AN big bud atm. I'm also dosing about 1250ppm of co2 in a pretty well sealed room. She loves it. Have had no issues so far. the ww x bb had a slight mag deficiency (have been told its common with this strain as the calcium locks out the magnesium if using hard tap water?) And the lemon og kush seems to require less nitrogen in flower.... the ww x bb has the biggest nugs but less of them where as the chemdawg seems to have LOTS of medium sized nugs atm. They say chemdawg is a hard strain to grow but for me it has been the easiest of the 3! One thing I have been warned about the chemdawg is to keep humidity lower towards the end of flowering as its susceptible to bud rot!? Probably the only thing I have noticed is she can't quite handle the light intensity/heat like the other 2 strains can. Not sure if your using RO water but have been told if using tap water thats too hard then this can cause cal mag lockout? Maybe one of the more experienced members would know more about that side of things? Hope this helped somewhat??
Since those earlier postings I seem to have figured out their issues thus far, had enough of them to experiment with, trial and error. Kept a good detailed log book to refer back to if i needed. 2 of them in particular are looking to overgrow all the other plants. Growing wide and bushy, full of tops already and I'm vegging still. I'll pull another handful of clones from the best plants and then flower them. I'll keep a mom out of whichever gets the best turnout at harvest. I refer to "best" as the potency/smell aspect and look at quantity as secondary. I'll have to put up a current pic when I'm at home, haven't had time to hang out with them for a few days. Lol, hope they're not lonely.
