The Absolute Truth About PH

You're welcome. 4 plants would be a shitshow for me. ha
After a few years growing commercially with no days off, I kinda got burnt out. I went fri. to consult a legal Grow Op near me, and it almost made me sick to see all the METRC tags, trim bags, stems on the floor, poor grow ethics....you know what they say.. too much of a good thing.
If I was that owner, and I knew I had a consultant coming in, I would have cleaned that place up...but, people have different ethics. Im too ODC for some of this shit I see from other Grow Ops.

My friends.. my saviors! So the bluelabs Soil pen arrived today. My measurements near the rootball, and close to dry soil, are between 4.1 and 5.7, depending on the pot. Looking for expert advice - I would think raising the PH of the water in my pail will offset this, and once I get the proper level, the PH pen will give me readings in the optimal 5.8-6.2 level. Please, anyone correct me if I'm wrong.

I never pH when I'm growing in soil. That's even when feeding nutes not just plain water. Never have any issues. I think many are doing unnecessary things.
Yeah agreed nor do i but i grow with organic soil/compost and feed and the whole point is that you dont need to mess about with that leave that for hydro agreed many read into it more than they should i think too also cannabis will vary strain to strain with what there preferred ph is and just cos theres an accepted general rule dont think thats optimum for all plants think about say landrace adapted to one place for so long there gonna want close to home conditions ph included if you really wanna go that far with it obviously most modern cultivars will be different due to our influence
