I'm new here and need help with my bushy ass plants!!!

Hey everyone I'm just curious if I should defoliate my ladies? I have them lst I just bent the top over then spread some branches and tied them down. Here's some pics any advice is much appreciated thx

I would defoliate or take some clones of some lowers whichever u prefer and i would just go down each branch remove everything except the top 2 or 3 nodes but if u did nothing at all youll still be fine plants look nice and healthy just make for a disaster at the end if u let underneath and in the middle of the canopy get that dense will lose some yield forsure

Yeah wouldn’t be a bad time to get rid of some leaves. Ones that are pointing inward of to the trunk. Anything blocking good bud sites. Trim off the BS that won’t make it to the end w/o being airy or small. Canopy control is a good thing. Learning the hard way myself

also noticing some purple in your stems. CalMg? I have the same thing happening and that’s what I’m doing. Do not know if I am right or not but I think unless it’s genetics.CalMg deficiency causing that to happen.
Looking good so far tho. Keep on LST. Open her up nice. How far along? Genetics? Medium?

I wish I saw something like this many weeks ago lol. Didn’t do much other than topping my run.. little LST.. left that BS nuggets in the bottom figuring maybe it’ll be a little something. Nope. All air lol. Shoulda trimmed once flower started and focused attention on the mains

all it takes is trimming that nonsense once and you will rarely make that mistake again just makes it so much harder at the end

They are right at 5 weeks I got the clones offline and have transplanted twice already. The strain is mimosa and I'm using fox farm ocean forest, with the fox farm line up of nutes. I've been using calmag once a week so every other watering.

perfect trim now, allow a week to recover and grow some more, do another light trim and flip

You may also need a light a some space to put them. If you haven’t cloned before it really easy, watch a couple vids. Sterilization is key, clone gel/powder definitely helps. I’ve had amazing success with a home made bubble cloner, or just using rapid rooters
