CHRISTIANA, Delaware (WPVI) -- Three people were shot and injured at the Christiana Mall in Delaware on Saturday.
All three victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials say two victims are in critical condition and one is in stable condition.
Five other people were injured during the incident, but their injuries are not gunshot-related, officials say.

All I'm saying is if enough people are pissed off about this and the SCOTUS blocks states and municipalities and the democrats gain a big enough majority a radical solution will be found. It might start with a ban on military assault style weapons and tax and registration and then to regulating all semi-automatic weapons out of existence. I proved that the federal government has the right and ability to both tax and regulate guns technically. Annual taxation would require registration and that could be shared with police.
Too bad, if they piss off enough folks and the democrats win a majority, I'm just outlining what is possible for the federal government to do, since the SCOTUS blocks the states from enacting restrictions. What I'm saying is the con artists at the NRA fucked you with extremist positions and aligning with the republicans and even Russians FFS. They are a corrupt organization of con artists and when they are done you will be able to own a bolt action or lever rifle and a single action revolver, if you pay to register it and pay the annual tax.

... and just to be clear, Im not a gun nut. I enjoy having them for sport, blowing up Tanerite (which is unusually legal), home protection, and self defense. But I'll only carry if I'm going into a hot zone, or if Im selling an item on MarketPlace that's too big to ship, and requires pick up from my location. Otherwise, It's just normal. I can see 3 of mine from where Im standing in the kitchen. But, they're just like pieces of furniture. No big deal. I can understand way people in a more populated area worry about it. More people equal more odds of something crazy happening. But!, it's also the same in the countryside. People don't just come rolling up on you when you live 1/8th of a mile off the country road, and when they do, and you don't know who they are, your safety is in your own hands. There are no cops to call that will be here in the next 30 min.
One of the main reasons the AR style rifle is so popular is the price of ammo. It's a smaller caliber 223 vs 30 06 vs 308. Simple math, larger caliber ammo is more expensive to produce. Not to mention actually producing the AR style rifle. Most of the knockoffs are garbage compared to the Colt model.
I hear the same thing from folks who live in remote areas of Oregon. Can't call for help when the nearest "help" is a half hour away. So, yes, in that situation, it's completely reasonable to carry your own help. I don't know if its true where you live but some pretty sketchy people find they prefer to live in remote places.
