I have a hermie. Don't know what to do or to expect.

Hi I have a big problem.

I have 3 plants in flowering week 6 right now.

I was checking on my plants and I've found some stuff that looks like seed sacks laying on the floor and I've instantly thought 'shit it's a hermie'.

I've checked on the plants and I've found only these ball sacks laying under one plant so I've started to investigate this plant and yeah it's a hermie. I ripped off all sacks (not that much and only on 2-3 very small branches).

But I've also found some open sacks which look like they have already bursted... So what do you think? Is my whole grow fucked up?

I think some lower buds where the sacks were look like they are producing seeds but I don't know for real because I don't know how the early stage looks like...

I've stressed them too much with the new LED I think. I have to get used to this powerfull LED stuff... Shit

Anyway... What should I do?

There’s fates far worse than seeded bud. Keep plucking balls and keep going. Do not share seeds until you’ve grown some out. Then still tell people the source and your experience with running them.
Ok so you say go on the last weeks and it will still be smokeable buds? I don't want to fuck up and waste all my time.

I its just a few sacs ride it out. You'll likely only find a few seeds. But if its a full on hermie get it out of there.
I could only find some sacs. Not that much though and only on 2-3 branches on one plant... So you think this won't seed all my buds and make this grow worthless? Never had hermies or stuff like that so I really don't know what to expect...

If it's balls, they were not caused by stress from the LED........it's poor genetics.
Ok so these small sacks that came in middle of flower wasnt caused by stress? But still my plants look like shit because the LED was so powerfull and the Environment (VPD was/is very high).

I dimmed the LED down a little hopefully this will help her the last days she still has...

A lot of my fan leaves are dried completely but not falling off. It hard to pluck them even if they are dead. I think the LED was to powerfull and she got light stressed... What do you guys think?

Toss the seeds, they're from the shallow end of the gene pool! Last thing you want is to propagate plants with a tendency towards being hermies. Don't need those contaminating the gene pool!!!
I don't want to germinate them. I would throw them away and buy new seeds from a breeder. But I was scared of bad weed or my time wasted due to the hermie.

I spent my first years of smoking doing so with seeded bud from Mexico. Brickweed. And some of it was spectacular. It’ll be fine. Promise.

Clearly you were not around in the 60's and 70's when ALL the weed had seeds! (LOL)
Sounds a little promising lol. It's a lot of time and money in there so I really want something in return hopefully.

What do you think about my problem with a lot of dried off fan leaves? Most of the fan leaves on top of the plant are dried off and hard to pluck. So I think it's light burn/stress. And almost all leaves in the lower part of the plant are still green. I don't know if these plants will make it to the end...

Right now they don't eat... EC always rising. I'm daily lowering it but still keeps rising. Do you think this is a problem due to the light stress? I have very bad VPD because of the LED heating the leaves a lot. VPD above 2 easy. Thats bad.

Have you measured your PPFD? If not you should consider it. I’m guessing it’s far too high.

Thanks for the encouraging to go on... I was shoked lol...

But the problem with my dried off fan leaves on top of the canopy isn't good either right... I don't know what to do. Only think I can think of is dimming the light to not have so much power... Plant is only drinking the last weeks not a little bit nutrients left the tank... I'm always just replacing water the last times because EC always rising... I don't know what to do and why they are not eating anymore... I think it's due to light stress and high VPD because these LEDs heat the canopy too much... That makes me worrying too because a lot of leaves on top of canopy are dead by now and they have still a minimum of 3 weeks to go. And most of you say breeder recommendation is often to ealy to harvest so maybe even more weeks...

Pollen sacs from females are deep in the cannabis plants DNA. Its actually a good survival device from the plants perspective. If its just a few sacs you should hopefully only find a few seeds. But again, keep an eye out for any more. Theres a difference between a couple of pollen sacs and a full hermie. If its a full hermie you have to remove it.

Thats why the others don't herm even if in the same environment? Just one because she has it in her DNA?

I don't really know what a full on hermie is but I've only found some pollen sacks and that's it. Not a lot. Maybe 5 or little more open sacks and maybe 20 or a little more closed sacks (with solme of them layign on the floor). It's a BIG plant. so I think it's not a lot! The buds look ok in my eyes...

If you mean with full on hermie thinks like bananas then I did not find any bananas. But if you mean something else please explain.

That seems like a lot to me. Do you have pics? If its just the one plant maybe remove it.

Maybe it was more something like 10-20 sacs in total very little were open the rest was on the floor closed or still closed on the plant... I don't have any pics of the sacks since I imediately plucked them. I can only show a picture of a bud of the hermed plant but for more pictures we have to wait till the lights are back on.

If it's just sacs on 2-3 branches of a plant with about 40 branches or so then I thought it wasn't that much. It's a farely big plant. Main stem is very big and a lot of branches.
