First time growing here so go easy but my buddy came over and told me my light wasn't strong enough so i turned it up to 100%. I had it at 60%.... pretty sure it's enough light for these girls. I also overwatered them a few days ago and haven't watered since as the soil is still moist. So i am not sure if this is overwatering or light scorching?? or whatever it's called. I am doing 20/4 cycle and these are Grandaddy purple auto from ilgm.com.

Is this too much light intensity? The second picture the round leaves on the bottom there I thought that was normal for them to start looking like crap and die off however now I am second guessing.

I reduced my light to 60% and it's at about 12'' from the plants. It is the Philzon PL 1000 LED light.

Also wondering if these are too far gone........

^^ that's the light. Manual says 50% power at 12'' from plants. i probably should have listened to that. Anyways the idea is this grow is the learning grow and probably the next .... so they may work may not..... trying to figure it out. never knew plants were so finicky.

Thank you

I'd keep the power turned down. I use a small LED light which via specifications claims to draw 47 watts at the wall for a 2'x3' area. I also keep the seedlings farther away than 12". It seems to works fine for vegetative, during bloom they need more light.

Details on potting mix? List of ingredients on label? I probably won't reply further, but I've found for the purposes of seedlings, a non-amended potting mix works best, no guanos or manures added, just sand or perlite and non-amended potting mix. Seedlings are easy to overwater when they're that small, I believe the solo cup sizes are too large.

Good luck.

Grow medium is Back To The Roots organic stuff. Heres the link :

I certainly overwatered them a few days ago because i thought i dried them out. I haven't watered in 3 days soil is still damp probably going to tomorrow maybe the next day depending.

RH i think is real humidity... about 60-65 ... which i am getting off the digital temp/humidity reader. I watered too much at one time i know that now, i should give me about a shot glass or 2. I gave them about 8 ounces each 3 days ago........ I plan to do a shotglass or 2 per day once they dry out a bit.

Maybe just quit the ph and let the soil work. And for young babies like that I prefer and pressure pump sprayer. just s light spritz but everyday. Just fill with un phed. Tap water. And spray the soil.
Just had a thought that the soil might be super hot? I like to germinate in promix and it’s surprising how long the seedlings stay green with no nutrient or soil. The have all they need for the first 10 days typically.

Ok I just looked at the soil. And that is your problem. Probably the worst choice you could make for any csnnibus, let alone for germination stages.

You can’t plan when and how much to water. Wait until the cup is very light before you water again. When the soil is too wet plants can’t take in nutrients. Let it dry between watering s helps root development too. Seriously wait until the cup is very light. I bet it will take 6-7 days to dry out enough.

I think you told me that on another post about the mushrooms lol. Yes haven't watered in 3 days waiting until the bottom is dry. They're in clear solo cups so I can pull em out and check

Don’t know why I missed that cause on closer look at your pic the soil is definitely a moisture holding, low aerated and “nutrient dense” mix.

I guess you live and learn in this one.
That's what this one is all about. I have foxfarm happy frog being delivered today. Should I transplant asap or with the overwatering and light scorch too much stress and probably kill the.? They seem to be at the beginning of the end anyways????
