I'm in sweats most of the time at home, too much weight in the pockets and its a half moon.
plus pockets need to be empty if your working on a car. old body shop rule.

Same reason I take off my watch and wedding ring when working on my truck or car. That's from aviation so you don't lose anything the jets can suck up or get your ring finger caught and have the skin peeled off it.

They had a picture of a finger bone with no skin on it that was from an accident that had happened right outside our ready room that was very graphic just to remind the slower soldiers that didn't quite get it. Had to see that damn thing every morning and coming back from lunch. Yikes is right.

It's called being "de-gloved" basically getting skinned.

Drill presses and lathes are extremely dangerous for de-gloving. You can get twisted up in those.
