Leaves droop before soil dries.

My leaves are drooping before the soil dries completely out. I was watering a day before the droop, but now they are drinking slower like they were overwatered. It seems like leaves drooping isn’t a good indication of soil dryness. This is fox farms soil. From everything I’ve read the soil should be dry by the time I see drooping. I’m literally having to wait until they droop on the colas before it’s dry now.

If the leaf droops before the leaf stem points down then you're over watering.

If both the leaf stem and leaf drop then you're underwatering.

They droop 5 days after water. Wouldn’t they droop right away from overwatering? Granted this plant was underfed so maybe the roots died and that’s why it’s staying wet. I dunno

Throw that meter away it's complete junk.
Instead of watering alot all at once try giving less water, more often. It's not advised to let soil dry out. It should stay moist around 120mb.
Welcome to the grow tent guy says to water until runoff and then let it dry out. He says with you keep the soil wet the roots rot. So he’s wrong?

I duno who that is nor care. I wouldn't runoff a 'living soil'. At least not until there's ample root mass to be able to take that amount of water. Soil should be kept at an even moisture not wet, not dry and dryback only slightly

Can you move the main stalk around or is it firmly seated in the medium? That'll tell you if you're having root problems.

Was he talking about soil or coco? You dont need to water til runoff if your plant is drawing nutes from the soil. If your nutes are in the water and you want to make sure your medium dont build up too much, then you wanna water til overflow.

Also droopy leaves means theres no transpiration/plant isnt drinking. This can be due to more reasons than no water in the pot. Especially with leds lights its important to dial in environment to get the plant drinking.

Plant doesnt look under fed, theres burnt tips all over the place. This would indicate the opposite: toxicity due to hot soil. Or using too much nutes in the water.

Soil. Those tips seem to get that way with potassium deficiency in soil. New ones don’t have that but I may have been hot on the nutrients during veg with these. The plant was definitely underfed at the beginning of flower. I’m assuming that caused s lot of the roots to die and now it won’t really drink. I’m pretty much at the end of flower now. Not sure what I’ll do with the bud it looks terrible. So the plants probably dying anyways.

What exactly are you feeding at what intervals and EC?

The tip burn youre getting is not all down to K def: you see burnt tips even on otherwise healthy looking leaves. The yellowish with burnt tips does look K def, but it can very well be lockout due to too hot soil. It seems like im not the first one to tell you this, plant looks over fed. Why not try this: water til runoff and catch the run off and test its EC. That way you have an actual metric to judge whether this too much or too little feed.
