Motor Breath - Starting to show sex :mrgreen:

This little light is working out for its space limitations. I was going to keep training but figured I would let it go all “ porcupine “ in growth.
This light is way better suited for either germination / clones or a single plant ( as shown ). With its upscale ability to plug and play more of these units in a Daisy configuration would really shine. It would be hands down a very worthwhile light for new growers or advanced , looking to adjust according to grow space requirements.

Flowering Time -


The XS1500 PRO lamp is working well. Growth of the Motor Breath has been phenomenal. For one plant , this will grow it well.
But , several daisy-chained together will really open up your gardening experience. Hopefully , I will get to test this lamp further under a setup like that .

Motor Breath update :

Got to say this little light as a full spectrum option in your garden is a no brainer. My plant technically outgrew it.
Not sure what will happen in later flower - so i may have to do periodic turning of it to allow even penetration - not the fault of the light - i just am locked in with one.

This is a perfect example why one should start with at least 2 lights daisy chained.

Better to have more power on tap than not enough.

Motor Breath Flowers


Some emerging flowers - moved over to GH MAXIBLOOM over grow nute . I bumped ppm to 950 @5.85 ph.
Hydroguard once a week . She is increasing her drinking and am now at other day in feed.

Update - flower

The Xs1500pro has doing very well. However with this particular plant i do have to spin it during cycle to ensure full plant exposure. Not necessarily the fault of the light - plant is large.

As far as promoting flower - Vipar Spectra @ViparSpectra has done well in determining the proper mix of led spectrum and use of optics. Flowers are frosty and healthy.

For a 2x2 space - it wins.

I chose to turn off light for pics as to highlight plant and growth .

I have no doubt that this solid light will benefit any grower in their garden , both experienced and novice.

Memorial day Monday -

First , thank you all that have done your service. I thank myself :mrgreen: as well ( army ).

As we guzzle beer , slam burgers / hotdogs and pee in the pool , i decided to show you what is going on with my Motor Breath plant.

She is looking fine as hell. :weed:
Packing on buds / smelling a good like / frosty up her loins.

The XS 1500 pro has done extremely well so far but with big plants like this ( large single ) you are recommended to “ turn plant “ occasionally to give shadowy areas a chance. Obviously a small scrog would improve things but the overall efficiency of this lamp shines thru regardless of growing style.

First Impressions -

This is one sturdy light , large one-piece heavy aluminum chassis , led strips , Soren Led Driver .
Outer LED strips are covered with optical lens and center strip with protective glass .
Ratchet straps , hangar wires , daisy chain connector cable ( 59” length ) and booklet included.

Vipar Spectra Xs1500 pro - Flowering

Here is some flower shots under the Vipar Spectra 1500 pro light. This Motor Breath ( Blimburn ) grew phenomenally under this little LED light.

It literally looks like a totally different plant since last Monday’s photo. Definitely a solid result. I do still have to spin plant occasionally to light up various sides but for what it is - light is fantastic.

Love to see a 4 lamp daisychain setup with these in a 3x3. Keep up the good work @ViparSpectra :bigjoint:

Not to stop the “ field test “ i added her “ clone “ now growing in her place.

This is a clone i took from that Motor Breath plant i ran here initially- and is also a large girl now in early flower. As you can see the XS1500 pro is still working out pretty well for this plant as well but may have to occasionally spin plant to even the exposure time.

Regardless of that , i am very happy that your brand has really done your homework on new light options. I will wholeheartedly recommend your lights to any growers asking for a good and upscalable light choice . Hard to beat your price point too.
