Humidity for curing

So I recently pulled and started hanging this is day 3 and I recently check the buds from time to time and my humidity when placing different buds in different jars with a humidity pack I think 2nd day was around 80 and now it's getting to around 70 and I think it'll be more 60 tonight when I get home from work...

What's the best humidity for it to be to start curing without a humidity pack? I have plenty of 62% humidity packs. I was once told it needs to be around 30-40% then start curing and put a humidity pack in it and burp every twice a day and sometimes let it breathe.

Just airing out my buds my cabin was way to messed up with the climent hot cold way too much so not I have them inside drying in pans after hanging i took them down too early ugh cabin conditions were not good to hang anymore...

I have around two ounces I believe from a autoflower ill post better pics in a bit

So the humidity packs over night made it back up in sealed jars around 70% so each day it seems its getting lower and dryer.

So i believe for one more maybe two days of drying out in pans and then put my humidity 62% in them after that and I should be good? 2nd harvest.

You don't use those packs for curing, most people don't use them at all as some people believe they destroy terps.

"Most people" don't understand that off-gassing terpenes is what stinks. "Destroy" is hilarious.

I got you I'm starting to learn a little bit more this is what I'm at right now just trying to monitor them

One with 52% no humidity pack
One with 54% pack in 30 mins ago
One with 57% pack in 30 mins ago

Stems are not breaking or anything but they do bend and seems I got the humidity levels around 50 or so...

Just trying to decide to jar up all this and let it be of what lol

Hang the bud until the rh lands in the high 50s, then use the packs until it has stabilized to the pack's percentage. I use 62% packs, but whatever you prefer.

Thank you for the reply yes it's reached around 50s and now I put in jars and packs in them for a little bit I heard the packs can't hurt them by staying in them

The buds are dry and spongy but don't crumble. So I believe they're where they need to be I just wonder if tomorrow will have a hay or weed smell ..

If you leave the bud in a jar with the packs it won't smell as strong until you take it out and grind it to smoke or store it in another jar or bag. This is because the terpenes aren't burning off until the environment changes. A few ounces will still stink up your house if you open the bin though.

Be careful if you're going to run a ziplock across town. You'll think you're good, but then you'll be sitting in your car and suddenly get swamped by the funk emanating from of your fanny pack or whatever.

Everything is starting at 60-62 and going back and forth at 58-59-60 in 6 jars I added packs to bring it back up and then removed it and it seems like it's holding fine after two hours later 3 jars at at 60 and working on bringing 3 more up they're 58+58+57

Everything looks good now the ones in the back are at 60-62 the 3 in back sorry

You hung the buds for 3 days then put them in jars? Asking for mold and to ruin your harvest. Hang till dry. Small stems will break (snap!).
I've got rid of jars and moved onto grove bags. WAY easier, and better imo.

Well that's my next try for sure. Got more plants to try so let's do.

Got very hott where was hanging really felt I needed to jar everything was around 50-60 and now running at 60 perfectly. 6 jars. .

I just hope the pine and hay smell goes away I hate reading reviews and stuff thinking bad. Everything all around 60-62-64 and then I burp and keep it fluctuating around there. 2nd day so far still same just doesn't have the smell or stick anymore like when I was growing it which sucks beacuse it seems it was going to be so much better but I guess it's just timing or maybe I pulled again too soon ugh I wish I could pay one of you guys lol I literally have a stock of seeds and feels like I'm always fucking up
