I'm growing autoflowers in soil. I want to use the lucas formula. I have them in fox farm soil. It's the beginning of week 4. It's time for Nutes. I need a feeding schedule using the lucas formula. Can someone help
First off what type of nutes are you using? The Lucas Formula is based on 3-part hydro nutes like AN or GH where you don't use any of the Grow but use the Micro and Bloom in a 1:2 ratio. It does not have to be a fixed amount of each as long as the ratio is 1-part Micro to 2-parts Bloom.
Using LF with autos you could possibly run into a bit of an N deficiency as autos continue growing in size all thru the flowering phase whereas photo plants stop growing in size once the stretch is over and turn their energies to fattening up the buds. Excess N with photos tends to retard bud growth after the stretch which is why a lot of us revert to LF feeding after the stretch.
Indoors I've only grown autos to make seeds with and don't get much in the way of size or yield. The last two summers I grew some outside in the ground with enough nutrients in the soil mix I prepared for them that I didn't need to add any additional nutrients. When I planted 6" already flowering autos I figured I wouldn't get squat from them but they ended up almost 3ft tall and gave me 6oz of dry bud each not counting all the popcorn and sugar leaf after trimming.
Fan leaves trimmed off as they were getting chopped down the next day. The middle one is a CBD auto that didn't yield much.
The strain is Mazarilla by Urban Legends. Mazar auto X GG#4 auto. Sprouted June 3 and done Sept 10 which is perfect when living up in northern Alberta around 56N.
Due to hemp farming in the area pollinating last summer's girls I'm not growing outdoors any more so will just be doing photos indoors during the cooler months.
