Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Be safe out there. I try to take the weekends off these days and errand on weekdays when it's saferNuts ... I see that we are about to embark on a Saturday filled with running all those wonderful errands. Running errands means no posting on B & D. SIGH!
Until later folks ...
these are simple & cheap, NetafimGood Saturday all !!
I thought this was an interesting DTW setup. They used an aquarium air divertor for water, but what's really cool are those trays to disperse the water. I'm thinking it would be easy to make them from round trays with holes in them. To help disperse the water evenly, and help reduce evaporation/high humidity. @Laughing Grass

Home Depot has some good prices on grow supplies. I just bought a large bag of chunky perlite from them for less than half of Amazons price.these are simple & cheap, Netafim

I also prefer the Rainbid 9 port manifolds

I'm happy with what I purchased even though it was a premium price. If I run it 1/2 as long as my HID I'm doing good, especially when I don't have to run a blower and had to ark up the grow by now. That's why I bought one of their cheapies and was shocked by performance, experience with it made my decision. But yeah that money hurt.Home Depot has some good prices on grow supplies. I wish I saw this 9 port manifold before...I ordered the 8 port like LG has, but I may re-order now.
The HGL lights are of course nicer than the Mars Hydro, but also twice the price. The one thing that scares me with Mars is their customer service....and HLG seems to have great CS. Shopping LED's is as bad as car shopping!
You should be you get terrific results. Even with my premium lights I don't get the same results, then again it's possible I need to stop putting back the mini-splits. I was so close this year LOL Oh well the attic cools down again in the fall. There are lots of choices for every every pocketbook. I have more budget priced lights than some but I'm proud of my results.
I used the 8port in the past, I had a few problems with them, IMHO the rainbird function much better, easier to keep clean & adjustI wish I saw this 9 port manifold before...I ordered the 8 port like LG has, but I may re-order now.
I can run my HPF4000 flat out (but heat). I can't do that with my HLG's even from a distance I scorched some leaves. I'm mid flower and finishing flower and only at 50% and they seem to be loving it, but at 60% I got bleaching. Then again, I run my light 100% at all times. Maybe it fails sooner, maybe not. I haven't had any leds fail in the 11 years since my first ones which had fans blowing on the heatsink to cool the 72 giant diodes lol
The red led's emit a full spread of photon torpedos probably.I can run my HPF4000 flat out (but heat). I can't do that with my HLG's even from a distance I scorched some leaves. I'm mid flower and finishing flower and only at 50% and they seem to be loving it, but at 60% I got bleaching.

You can see it when you zoom in on the diode.
I'll just alter the algorithm.Maybe keep it at 10 ft, put it in "planetary bombardment" mode at 100%
