When to flip this plant??

Purple Kush %100 indica
Should I flip this plant now to 12/12?
it's been vegging for 30 days
the plant is 30in tall I have 72in of grow space accounting for 12in of seperation from lights.

That’s a thick canopy. You need to get airflow and better light in the canopy.

Get some bamboo sticks and spread the branches open with plant ties. Defoliate a little and send us another picture.

my friend is supposed to come lst the top canopy. IT's so thick on this plant its hard to work with. theres tons of bud sites underneath can't get light. guess thats part of growing Indica. its's got 2 250watt spider's on top but it doesn't seem to like full blast from them. i run them at %60 to %80.

Yes you can see in tent bottom right. I'm going turn it on full blast. All the leaves are moving

Will it start growing vertically at all? I'm worried about it maxing out the width of my tent. Leaves are touching 3 sides.

Is she already on 12/12? If not I'd flip now. As for stretch, some stretch more than others but expect about 2x-3x vertical growth. Also, depending how much light it's getting it may stretch more or less.

Ryn I'm vegging a Purple Kush now and I'm curious about the stretch in flower. Could you post your results please and thank you!

I've read that Purple Kush only stretches a couple of inches the first 3 weeks of flower, I'd like to know for sure so I can plan my flip.

Imho plant looks stressed. Way too much light and food issues. If it was me. I would flush the plant bigtime. Feed close to full strength veg. Turn light down abit and raise abit. Veg until plant starts to rock. A week or so. I personally never start flowering unless plants are thriving.

I'm late veg in a 3x3 tent with a 300 watt light at 40-50%. 20 inches above plants for reference. Running 20/4.

Sounds about right raised lights 1nc or 2 1 week of flower
