Tent size i may have messed up help

I may have flipped a little late.

I got 7inches i can raise the lights.
If I screw around with hangers probably another 3 inch
Do I need to train it or is it to late?

Absolutely train it. Always plan for a plant doubling in height (as a rough guide) through flower. I think you'll be Ok here. Your plant sure looks good to me.

What type of training my friend does all training i only grow. He opened the canopy awhile back.

I like to use rose stem wire to tie branches down to the walls of the fabric pot. That would be my main goal, to "flatten" her out as much as you can right now.

You should buy or build a trellis to train the plant to use the full space available; ie. scrog.

binder clips on the side work well, no damage to the container and gives you a loop to tie to. or you could drop a trellis net wall to wall.

Snap those tops over (supercrop). Ive done it up to 2 weeks into flower with no problems.

You can shorten your wire hangers and move your drivers outside of the tent to allow you to raise your light more when you need it. I've even zip tied my lights to the top bars to get lights right up to the top.

And a scrog net will allow you to train your plants to grow horizontally during the stretch to fill your tent from side to side, allow the lower bud sites to grow up to the screen, and get an even canopy for better light to lower bud sites.

I thought about that, if it gets that tall. My friend freed up a good 9 in. Today

Looks really good. Now you’ll need to thin that canopy out a little bit too, for airflow and light penetration.

I thought it was bad to take off big fan leaves. Anyway he said he would check it in a day or 2 to work it more.. Probably what he will do.
