We don't use those out here, lol. My AC has a drain pipe that goes outside. It's rare for the humidity to be above 50% in the afternoons. It's 97 outside with 21% humidity at the moment.

I love the Beach Boys. They played every Fourth of July at the mall in DC as a kid. Free concert and fireworks after. I stopped going once they got fired by the Park Service for not paying a litter bill.

I was there for their bicentennial concert in 1976 on the mall too. Don't know why you don't remember me. Hurts a little

. I remember the year after they kicked the Beach Boys out they had Julio Iglesias lol. We had a block party and a neighborhood hoodlum shot off a shit ton of illegal fireworks. Way cooler than Julio. Those were good times to live in DC. Before the crack epidemic turned it into a shooting gallery in the 80s.

Didn't they have Wayne Newton play there next year after Julio? I distinctly remember his "One more time!" line and the whole crowd bood him.

Rained all yesterday. Sun just popped out here, and supposed to be a decent, cooler weekend. Low 70's.

I had to run errands yesterday and earlier (WAY earlier) I'd taken a dab of Apple Fritter. So this is hours later and I'm sure the cops are following me. Thankfully I had the experience to talk my dumbass self down and drive home. That was after Benadryl too. So I told myself no more of that unless I have tolerance (just off a tolerance break). I'm thinking about taking a dab now and guess what I'm reaching for

My sister and her friends went that year. I wasn't going to see Wayne lol. I was a metal head by then and Wayne Newton would have been torture. I went to a John Lennon memorial there after he was shot and the whole mall was teaming with older hippies. Almost smoked my first joint there but it got passed before I worked up the nerve to try it lol.

Whew, the DTW table is in the works. I made it a 4 x 8 instead of 4 x 4....Because, why not?
Table is done, now to make the legs and cut the corrugated decking and vinyl gutter.
I have to order a condensation pump still, and a few other goodies, but this might just be awesome.
Or it might leak and flood my basement, one never knows.

I would have loved to have seen them in concert. I saw Motley Crue and Ratt on tour but never anything really head banging like Megadeth, Metallica, Priest or any of the bigger guys. I wish I had caught AC/DC back then too. So many great bands and so few dollars for tickets as a kid making $3.35 an hour lol.

Ronnie James Dio is my favorite seen him 3 times the last time was a few months before he passed away that show had Deep Purple and the Scorpion it was a great show
