Day 19
A few pics of some growth. Plants have been kept tight. We gave them all a little breathing room today after pictures. We will also be reducing the amount of light to cause a little more stretch over the next few days.

Plants today

Two of the most vigorous plants have been transplanted to a container a little bigger. (Gallon milk jugs).

Clones were taken from almost the entire batch.
Plants continue to show signs of nutrient burn.

A few plants. You can see the continued burn from the mgrow soil on the right plant. Most everything else has recovered and show minimal to no signs of burn

Several plants were put into flower today. (Not pictured)
And yes that's black tape. Just giving a tiny bit of support to a full collapse. Depending on the bend back I may tape a on the other to raise the level a little bit.

I topped the branch the leaf comes off to promote its growth. Its doubled in size. Hopefully it continues to grow so I can pull a cutting off it.

I moved plants around today so it didn't get it's usual amount of light. For those with keen eyes. Nope those are immature bracts. Look kinda like nana's in the pic though.
(Edit: lol even though I already checked, I checked again. Yep bracts. Omg this is such a horrible pic. I'm going to have nana nightmares. Its a PAT currently)

Below 4x of the 18 plants we kept. 4x plants take up the same space 18 plants did 12 days ago.
14x plants have been put into flower. (We kept clones of these though. Just no large plants) 18x large moms is a bit much)

Plants that have been flipped to 12/12 are put under the light tight until first flowers appear. (Just an old method I use to force lower growth to stretch to = canopy height).
IMG_20230703_111151164.jpg

We have to reduce the light a little as we want 74/75k lux on canopy. Canopy top currently is around 82k lux.

4x Moms in 1 gal milk containers.

We had to wax the top of biggest mom. Took a nice sized clone off the top leaving a gaping entrance to it's vascular system.

Woke up to a whole new canopy on the plant with the leaf stem mutation. In other words the mutation now lies beneath loads of new growth. I am unsure as to how far I am going to go in attempts to get the mutation to be a full fledged branch coming off the leaf stem or if it is even worth pursuing any further. Either today I cut back all new growth so mutation is front and center or I just continue to let the plant grow and leave the mutation under the canopy. We will see. Today the moms are outside getting some sun. If I cut back the canopy I will post pics.

Side note. Had a growth explosion last night and one of the the cropped moms bent over toward the light bringing it close enough to be in the 100k lux range.

Plants that were flipped a few days ago. Gave them a tiny bit more space today as most the lower growth has reached the lower portion of the canopy.

Mutation is front and center for a day or two until the bent branches make a comeback.

Top down of mutation plant after "training" lol

As you can see moms are loving it outside

I will post pictures of this strain from previous grows budding outside via normal seasonal flower and strictly 12/12. Its amazing the difference in flower appearance when a plant has strict 12/12 vs the 14hr light countdown nature provides.
