I get that's how you adjust it but it's a blind hole you can't see if there's any exposed wires or connections in. With the manufacturing quality I've seen lately I'd just want a rubber handle screwdriver but like I said I'm a shock magnet so I'm just a tad paranoid about getting bzzzzt zap. . The juice you welders use is nuts. I'd be toe tagged in my a week at that jobIt's made to be adjusted like that, a variable resistor. The drivers output DC, not household current. DC can be worse depending on voltage and current. I welded with 28V DC once, 300 amps though.
