see ive never tried these type of uv lights i have no idea if they work or not. the only type of uv i have ever used has came from a 10k metal halide or a 10k ceramic metal halide. im not sure if these uv lights are a waste of money. i think my 315watt 10k cmh produces like 90 watts of UV light im not sure though and also man alot of people on here will tell you that UV will not make a difference in your end quality but in my experience it makes a huge difference in thc potency.

the only other uv lights that i know of are these t5 ho uv light a couple different people make them but they are basically t5 bulbs that emit UV light you would need to buy a t5 fixture that goes with the bulb and i think the bulbs are t5 high output bulbs so you would need a high output fixture im not sure though ive never used these bulbs before so i dont even know if they will work.

I think what UV does is makes them finish a lot quicker
I use a Spiderfarmer SF-4000 indoors, with no UV bar and my weed ends up plenty potent. I have occasionally seen over the years super dank looking weed that wouldn't get a fly high. What strain are you running?

i use a ceramic metal halide with a 10k cmh bulb it has boat loads of UV but the problem is yields your light produces like 200lumens/watt and my cmh light only produces 70lumens/w(10k cmh) or 110lumens/w(3100k cmh) so your light yields a lot more than myne.
i never said that like i said alot of people on here say that uv does nothing lol using UV is like bro science some people say it works others say it does nothing. but i use alot of UV and i harvested my plants on day 41 and they get me stoned into outer space no lie super potent nugs even though theyre premature and i honestly think its the UV that made them this potent.
lol too each they're own if the nugs are potent enough for you without the UV than thats all that matters
but for some people like me we need the extra potency that comes with adding UV spectra it makes a huge difference my last grow i harvested at day 41 because of a mold scare and dude my nugs get me blasted into outer space even though theyre super premature!. like nugs this premature should not get you stoned but myne get me stoned af! i honestly think its the UV from my CMH light. heck yeah man i would also pull it it looks delicious <3 :3 thank you for the confirmation

That's great that your early weed got you high. IN my experience good genetics get you high way before they are totally done. And lesser genetics won't be as good no matter how well grown. I can show you certified state testing that shows that my lights create very potent bud. As one measure of quality. Of course subjective experience is what matters most. And I am primarily an outdoor grower, so I understand the importance of full spectrum lighting.

May i ask a similar question? Im at week 6 and am seeing a good bit of amber cloudy and clear trichomes...almost in an even amount..again im at week 6 and im scared im gonna miss peak. I did veg for like 3 months ..dont know if that has anything to do with speed of flower. Growing an Indica dominant plant from what i know, Orangina.
