It was 2nd to last among my patients out of that grow. I agree. It looked good, but just didn't have it. I've acquired Dominion Skunk and Granny Skunk sees recently and will be running them soon. I have higher hopes for them. How did that Dominion G turn out bud ? I have sat on a pack and been looking to see what other's have thought about it. I also have delta blues from Dukes collection I need to run. Any info would be great, thanks
Can anyone confirm that Mr. Bob Hemphill and Hannah Boldt were doing the breeding on these 2 strains?

Thank you. I just ran C&C's Puck BC2. 3 females and they're all good. I'm curious to see how the NL1 does with the Puck. I heard on a podcast that he's holding 12 packs of the Puck Yeah. I hope he plans to BC it.Yes they did work on these 2 strains about 3 years ago.
The Puck BC2 is already Puck x NL1, so you know basically what to expect.Thank you. I just ran C&C's Puck BC2. 3 females and they're all good. I'm curious to see how the NL1 does with the Puck. I heard on a podcast that he's holding 12 packs of the Puck Yeah. I hope he plans to BC it.
It was BC2, not BC3. I have one small BC3 that's finishing up now and a Shoreline x Puck. I had 3 of 3 females with the BC2. They all grew under 30" with 1 untopped cola and several side branches. The buds were long, thick and heavy. It wasn't the most dense layer of trichomes, but they were heavy and produced the highest percentage of rosin of anything I've grown. Nice, buttery rosin. It has a very nice, even, laid back, behind the eyes, overall body high, that drifts you into bed with an extra toke or two. It's in my nighttime rotation right now with Serroquel and a Wedding Cake bagseed that I took to the dark side this run.The Puck BC2 is already Puck x NL1, so you know basically what to expect.
Im not 1005 positive but the Puck BC2 might be ging through all the genetics since Nevil
Nevil used Pacific Northwest Hashplant x NL1 used a male from that and created is Hashplant strain, which is where the Puck was found in around 1987- 1988..
Flash forward 3 decades, and Bob Hemphill procured the original Puck Cut, and the Pacific Northwest Hashplant Cuts. Not sure where the NL1 came from but 1 guess may be from AKBeanBrains, who says hes had it since 1985.
So Hemphill gets the original Puck cut, and backcrosses it back to NL1, wherever the NL1 came from. Not to mention he says he experimented 3-5 years before he brought these Puck crosses to market. This cross would have produced last years drop of the C&C BC2, and a further backcross would produce BC3.
Guessing again but the Puck Yeah is like what the Puck BC1 would be. I bet he may go through a male search on those 12 packs of Puck Yeah.
Hows about a smoke, and short grow report on the Puck BC3?

For some reason I thought bob got the NL1 from KagyuNot sure where the NL1 came from but 1 guess may be from AKBeanBrains, who says hes had it since 1985.

May have.I may be wrong bu

He said he got it from Kagyu in a few of his interviews. He has 5-6 interviews that I’ve seen over on YouTube.I may be wrong bu

Looks good man. I had some lower balls on my 2 of this cross, so there is definitely some instability present. Im wondering if the puck bc2 males had an instable one in the mix.. saw a puck bc3 report on overgrow with males throwing female hairs.A small branch of Sensi Star Puck HP BC 1 snapped on my plant at day 57 so I snipped it off and will use it as a test smoke in a few days (plants at day 61 now). Here are a couple pics of the tent- I flowered in 1 gallons with zero training to fit the 8 females I popped for a phenohunt. I dont think I fed them enough nutrients often enough as they are yellowing quite a bit. I hope to chop them down between 65 and 70 days, they are limping to the finish line.
I should also mention I have mature seeds in a few of the plants. I'm not sure if this was the result of me not getting the males out fast enough ( I got them out within 2 weeks after the start of 12/12 light schedule). Or maybe it was the result of a hermaphrodite caused by environmental stresses. I hear these genetics are very strong and I am a novice grower so I put the blame on me. I am certain I don't have light leaks but maybe one of the pins on my timer is off or something.
One last thing- has anyone ever stressed a plant and caused it to herm because of too much pruning after the switch to 12/12? I am asking because on around day 20, I snipped off completely lower branched from the main stalk to lolipop. In retrospect maybe I should have kept the branches connected to the stalk and just removed the leaves and bud sites. Anyway, just trying to rack my brain. I am hoping even though there are some seeds there won't be so many and it will still be some good smoke. On to the pics:
