Salvisa from Lymerising Farms, which was very septoria resistant last year, shines again! Took it down Oct 5th, sticky, hint of fuel in the aroma, looking forward to taste testing soon. Nice 12 foot plant, will be running again next year.

next year, gonna run sfng, superwreck, pineapple muffin, and candy store, and salvisa if I can get the seeds (was a pain last time I tried)...... I need a heavy indica too, couch locker with high septoria resistance in that mix? Starting my seeds Feb 1 this year to get a nice 6-7 toppings.... I lollipop and spread everything out, and has worked pretty well keepiing septoria and other diseases at bay, most of the time.... but more plant management for sure, like every topping adds work .... I gotta get a couple pics on this computer.

This is our 1st offering for resistance to Septoria (OG Tropband) The Mom is a Pheno of Blooms Mnt Trop Bx1 I found that laughs at septoria even in fields of plants that are totally infected. The Dad is OG Koffband by Staefli Farms which has high levels of mold resistance. Together they're a match made in Heaven displaying resistance to Septoria, Botrytis and Powdery mildew. The cultivar can be found on Strainly. The only other strain I know of in the whole community claiming Septoria Resistance is Limonada by Mendocino Twenty20. This year I'm only running our strains with that Mnt Trop cut (4 now total) and that Limonada to hunt for Phenos that are immune to Septoria. No more playing games with expensive seed packs to only lose them to the blight. Septoria is hands down the most vicious adversary I've even encountered in all my years of Cultivating this plant. Thanks for making a whole Thread about it. Growers Love

I have not heard of those strains before, but I am glad to hear others are finding success fighting septoria! Salvisa by Lymerising Farms has displayed almost total résistance to septoria, for 2 successive years for me! Other strains from Lymerising that have The Work, or its crosses have also done well! The Work is a collaboration project that Lymrising Farms did the final selections on. Here is a link to the Salvisa which did so well for me outdoors.
This is what the plant looked like in late Sept., 2024.
