Day 1

4 clones rooted out. 2 were cuttings that were stored in the fridge for 104 days. 2 were clipped fresh off the plant and put into rapid rooters. More can be found here on the fridge clones. https://www.rollitup.org/t/clones-refrigerator-questions.1091200/

Light is a Phlizon FD6000-O 640w bar led

I put them into the 5x5 pots with fresh coco and some Dynomyco. I watered them in with about 1 quart each of 1.1ec feed. The fridge clones are the back 2. The fresh clones are the middle 2.

1 gallon ro water
1mL ArmorSi
2mL CalMag
1.2g maxigrow
~.4mL pH down

Day 2
Had a package in the mailbox today with the rest of the stuff I needed to plumb up the blumats. Got those plumbed up, the reservoir drilled and bulkheads put in, 5 gallons of feed mixed up and in the reservoir.

For 5 gallons, I mixed as follows (I was going to mix 8 but after I made the concentrate, I decided on 5 gallons after checking the numbers)

8mL ArmorSi
16mL CalMag
9.6g MaxiGrow
2mL pH down

1.0ec
466ppm (.5 scale)
5.8-5.9 pH

I'm going to let it sit for a couple hours and if it doesn't drift at all, I will either dial in the carrots or let it sit overnight and dial them in in the morning.

tch is that pure coco like there is no perlite or anything else in there? :O also very nice setup man im super jealous your prob gonna get a killer yield with that tent / light omegaw!!!
Yes sir. Straight coco from bricks. Soaked, rinsed, and buffered. I am looking forward to this run. I am going to keep it under control this go round. I have a tendency to get a little over zealous and cram too many plants in there or let them go way too long and all of a sudden they are 6'+ tall. The blueberry cupcake plants are all clones so I will give them a couple weeks and then I'll flip to 12/12 and hope the 2 Cinderella Purple up front that I started from seed will keep up. If not, ill probably take cuttings and cull them or if my other flower tent is ready, toss em in there. Thank you for the compliment on the setup. I've been very happy with the Spiderfarmer tent so far. I'm curious to see how the ventilation does this time. If it works well as is, I will probably buy actual hard ductwork and ditch the rigid flex tube. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly!!

Day 3 am

pH in the res was 5.9 exactly 12 hours later so I went ahead and purged the lines and set the carrots. I am going to keep an eye on everything to make sure the carrots are working and the pH doesn't drift too much. Found another use for the LST clips. They are perfect to hold the drip lines steady and just up off the surface of the coco.

That's the plan. Pack the house and hopefully the 2 seed plants keep up with the clones when they take off. If not, I'll be pulling them and just grow out the 4 clones.
Got that ! have 5 plant in a 3ft by 2.5 feet space - all in 5 gallon pot - at week 3 in flower at week 4 they will be losing their leaves (haircut)

Question time:
I am running 6 plants in a 4x4. These 4 clones of Blueberry Cupcake and 2 Cinderella Purple from seed. They will all run the distance in this tent. I have not decided yet 100% whether I will scrog them or just top them and let them go and stake em if necessary.

The question is, they are currently in 5"x5" ~1/2gallon pots. Would I be better off putting them into 6x6 pots that are about 1 gallon or 9x9 pots that are about 2.5 gallons? Keep in mind that the first time the clones got away from me and got up to about 6 1/2 feet tall, they were just in the 5x5 half gallon pots. Would I gain that much by moving them up in pot size when they are going to be semi crowded as it is? They are in coco being fed maxigrow and bloom via blumats.

I would put them in bigger pots since you're using blumats and coco. I was trying to use them in 1/2 gallon coco cubes, and it was really hard to find a balance between too wet and too dry.

Thanks. I literally just made the decision to go up to the 1 gallon pots. I'm gonna pick them up this afternoon. I just can't justify the 2.5 gallon pots for 6 plants in that tent in coco. Authentic end of this run, if I feel they didn't do as well as they could have, I'll bump up to the 2.5's next run.

I find the 1.8 gal is pretty ideal with an irrigation system. With blumats I think I usually ran 3gal? Can't 'member

Got down to the grow shop and she let me know that they are going to get some 1 gallon pots that are the same as the half gallon pots that I use and love. So, I left the 1 gallons behind and will pick those up next week. I also swung through Tractor Supply and picked up a couple rabbit trays to use under my pots in case of a runaway carrot with the Blumats. Got a 24"x24" for the 3x3 tent and a 36"x30" for the 4x4 tent. The 24x24 will hold just over 6 gallons so that covers my 4 gallon reservoir. The 36x30 should hold just over 11.5 gallons and that should cover the other res since I don't plan on running more than 10 gallons at a time.

Day 8 from putting clones in coco

These little ladies are poppin!! They are gaining height pretty quickly now. I am leaving town next Sunday for 5 days. I am thinking of topping them the day before I leave and if all still looks great when I get back, flipping them to 12/12 at that point. Does that sound like a feasible option? Or should I just play it by ear and see how they look and make the call then?

Day 12

Noticed the fresh cut clones seem to have more vigor than the fridge clones.

Had discoloration in the reservoir again, so it got cleaned and swapped. Removing the ArmorSi and added bleach for a sterile res.

5 gallons
10mL calmag
22.5g maxigrow
20 drops bleach

Ppm ~770
pH 5.7

Day 14

Res still clear. Plants looking good. I would like to utilize as much of the canopy as possible, so does anybody have an estimate on when the best time to flip these would be? They have been topped once, would it be good to top them again? If so, where would I top them? (There are also 2 Cinderella Purple plants in the tent as well)

Day 15

Posting pics of what my ladies look like before I walk out the door until Thursday night. Added 2 gallons of nutes to the solution. Ppm and pH are holding steady. My son will be keeping an eye on them while I'm gone, but the hopes are that he will need to do nothing.
