Do I Need Overdrive?

Hey everyone, I'm just beginning the last 2 weeks of my Autoflowers that I'm growing outside in Eastern Ontario. I'm supposed to be starting to add Overdrive to my nutes and I just realized that I don't have any. Is this something I really need? Or can I just continue on with Big Bud since they're Autos and know what to do anyway? Believe it or not, these 2 plants were planted on the same day and supposed to be the same strain of Fat Bastard Autos from Quebec Cannabis Seeds. They sure don't look the same to me! You don't need overdrive, Big Bud is already a K booster, overdrive is also a K booster with even more P, plants don't need or even want a lot of P. Your plants look good. You mentioned having 2 more weeks to go? Those plants only look like they just began to flower, is this your first grow? Auto's tend to need around 100 days from seed to harvest despite what the breeder claims.

You shouldn't need to add another booster. Those also have a lot longer than two weeks left, breeder claims can be off by a lot sometimes.

Your bulky plant is going to finish faster than the other one. Thats why they look so different at this stage. One is in early flower stil, while the bulky one is in mid flower stage.

Thanks again! They are both on the first day of week 9, and no, this is not my first grow. This is my first outdoor grow (only since early June obviously, and they were started indoors) and yes they look very healthy, but I have been keeping track of their daily progress on Grow with Jane. The bushy plant definitely looks like it's not nearly as far along as the darker one, so what do you think about the strain? Could they be the same yet clearly at different stages of bloom despite being exactly the same age? I have a digital microscope so I can see the trichomes as they develop so thanks for saving me a couple bucks on Overdrive!!

They probably are the same. Just slightly different phenotypes

But why? If they're the same strain and same age? Is that normal? I thought the exact same thing about the one just starting to flower, I just don't get it.

I've grown quite a few Autos and they've never gone close to 100 days. My last grow I waited too long and they just started producing seeds and taste like crap. I'll just follow the lead from the trichomes and flush when they're ready now that I don't have to think about Overdrive. Thanks!!

Yes thats normal. Some times the difference seed to seed isn't very big, were as sometimes its bigger. Autos are usually made by stacking different type ontop of each other with whats called a day neutral plant (auto gene plant, meaning a type that flowers with age rather than light diffrences). This results in giving seed that can have variation. It would be the same as a half chinse and half jamacian girl having a kid with a eurpean guy. Every child would be like a different seed . Each with their own unique look.
