really to much light? i thought your light could be on 24/7 am i wrong? well maybe it is but i dunno from wat i have read 24/7 gives you 30% grow rate but the case is not that here... i forgot to metion that my roots when i transplanted them weren't a big ball like u would normally have they were still young looking roots so maybe they are just stunted and will come out of this...roots def grew though cuz i had one plant die off week or so ago and the root structer was a big root and like 10 lil ones shooting off and now there are bunch of lil roots so hoping it will come out of it as i can't get good strain seeds very often and these were some i managed to get well i will post back in few days with results if there are any...Peace

yes you can grow on 24hr light. but your plants look like they got nute burned and all that light is making this problem worse. since there is to much nutrients in the leaves the light being on that long is making them burn worse. flush the plants out with water if you havent yet and let them get some dark hours until they grow some normal looking green leaves then you can go back to 24hr on.

Yeah if you listen to ^, beware that changing the times the lights are on can cause your plant to start flowering, even though it's not on 12/12.

ya it is cold here and i dont want my plants sexing right now or even the possible chance it will so i'll just go with wat i got now unless i can get more input on the situation...remember i just translplanted and most of the old soil removed when transplanting so nute burn sould not be a problem anymore other then the damage it already did...i watered after i did the transplat because the soil in the pot was really dried out when i put them in it...well off i go Peace

There is no such thing as too much light! Please stop giving out bad information
This is true.
And unless you have a timer, i wouldn't turn it off at all.
Cause if it were me and i didn't have a timer, i'd be high and fall asleep and forget to turn a light on or off then your timing would be boned.

Idk i've heard a few of my good grower friends say that you need some dark, but i've seen many of awesome grows that were done in 24/0 for vegging.

its called phytotoxicity... thats why you dont spray plants when the lights come on u do it when they go off because the light will burn the leaves with all those nutes on them. i was thinking maybe this could be a similar thing. correct me if im wrong.. just tryin to help....

i agree with floridasucks and george cervantes. . i always aim for 18/6 or 20/4. . why not give your plants a little beauty sleep right?, its not like your going to loose much growth. . i always think after a little darkness the plants looked refreshed, and ready for another long day under the lights. .

I've never used anything but 18\6, and i think it helps for them to be in the dark but it's not going to kill them to not have lit.

yes i know some perlite would hae been good for this but i just transplanted and not going to disrupt them again at all i just need a female to clone form thats is all i will try 20/4 maybe it will help guess we will have to wait and see if this really helps in recovery of my plants just dont want em sexing as sumone on here said might happen even tho it's not 12/12
