Opened the coop this morning, coon got in there last night dead chickens all over.
Unfortunate part of being way back in the sticks. Thought I had them under control. Males disperse this time of year and didn't have live traps set.
It's a mess in back not looking for to dealing with it.

Morning

We're good at the house so far. Basement is bone dry :blsmoke: But many people are having a very bad day. Basically all main routes are closed. And I wouldn't trust any back roads right now. I hope everyone is OK I know there was a swift water rescue right down the road where a friend lives. This is exactly like Irene :-|

That really sucks! Sorry for your losses.

I've thought about having chickens here, but I have so much wildlife I know it would be a struggle.

A rainy Monday here. Not sure what's on the agenda yet. Maybe some basement projects, or groceries.....What I really need to do is find a new back doctor and make an appt.

Apparently flooding here in NY too...This is just 2 hours from me. We had heavy rain here, but nothing like this.

Those storms were pretty intense last night
