Top Dawg Pineapple Piff

What’s up my cannabis community. I was looking to get some feedback on a new and old discussion that I have seen in a few threads previously. So for the the new topic I was curious if anyone has run Top Dawgs Pineapple Piff? It’s my understanding that it’s relatively new so I can’t find any reviews for it.
Now to bring up an old discussion that I haven’t seen in a bit. What’s up with that Piff. I grew up in New England and we could drive down to the Hartford and get some absolute FIRE! They called it piff, or papi (possibly spelled differently). This was before piff was coined as a general term for good bud. This shit was very specific. The Dominicans sold it in glass jars. 2 for $25. Ozs for $500-$600 and it was totally worth it. For the most part the Dominicans had it on smash. You couldn’t get clones or seeds anywhere. But these dudes always had it. It had a very particular smell. I mean just getting a whiff of it could change your day. It’s been so long I can’t even describe it. But if my nose got a hint of it I would know it immediately know. Id probably even tear up a bit as I have nostalgic flashbacks! I’ve heard all the theories that it is extinct. I don’t believe it personally. Every now and again I would find a seed in one of those bags and put them away. I lost them in a move years ago but I know I can’t be the only one that came across a few. Someone has to have a cut of it somewhere. Anybody?????? I know the old wives tail was that the Dominicans and Columbians would rotate the fields they grew poppi in. And this stuff was grown in the poppi fields during the years they wouldn’t grow poppi to keep cash flowing. I don’t know if it’s necessarily true. But the couch lock after burning some of that felt like you were in a mini coma! For real!

I grew a pack of the pineapple piff. Shit was trash. Nothing piff about it. JJ even said it's not the real piffcut into the cross but ya 1 pheno had a citrus blast but the structure wasn't piff

Damn. Thanks for the info. Well that sucks. I bought the pineapple piff and the black piff from JJ at the same time. Still haven’t got to them but planned to in the next few weeks. Have you come across any piffy strains? I’ve been searching for years and have come across a few hazey strains that don’t come close to the old school haze. But I haven’t come across anything with that piffy smell. I know everyone says it’s dead and gone. I will not accept that. I was in Jersey, at a casino in the parking lot, two weeks ago and I got the only whiff of it. I was not mistaken. My nose tracked that smoke down and I was like police knocking on some kids window asking him where it’s at! He was shook and thrown back. He gave me a chunk and I was back in the late 90’s early 2000’s. It was that piff. He told me he grabbed it off a rando at the beach. No connections. But proof of life... it’s still out there. Any help? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks again for responding in the first place.

Sorry just returning to this forum ... But I been all about piff lately. My homies in mass have it growing . And snype who is public , in Maine has piff on deck usually. He's fully legal so you just need a med card . But they both have it fully verified from piffcoastfarms and mass genetics. The topdawg stuff is ehhh for piff . JJs African haze lines tho are definitely haze. Look for piffcoastfarms.com or hit him up on a forum or ig. He has piff crosses galore and donates cuts sometimes.

I bet you are remembering Cuban Black Haze, it's so funny that they called it "papi" that's a new one to me! I love the stuff too, it's one of those strains you have to track down at some point, and it's a shame that the old haze strains aren't more popular. I knew people who called it both Church and piff, though after a while a lot of stuff was called piff. Nizza's thread pretty much covers everything.

It would seem nobody is growing/grown it out online…

The genetics suggests something decent.

I did and it was mids .....the lineage is wrong .... There is no piff ....JJ used the s1 from massblooms ....it's a fake horrendous line

Packs .....dude I ran the entire fuckin piff kine JJ made except uptown Brown bx .. ya there was some mango haze phenos I'd say on scale 1-30 would show it ....male city , mutation city , nothing pineapple, nothing piffy .... I then hear the story of the cut that was used and I knew people who had it already and I was like dahhhhh wtf I been hunting for something that was "supposedly"the donor lineage anyways .... I would say if you're looking for anything mango A5 or anything with real effect I would go more towards the African Haze side of things. You're not going to find piff

Damm! Just swapped a few packs with a mate and got the pineapple piff. I was excited, not so much now…

I hear the piffcoast Harlem dreams is fire. Plan on ordering a pack to find out. I'm in Connecticut and my brother and cousins loved that NY piff back in the 90s. We would go up top to grab a couple of ozs.

I'll show everyone some piff later ....we call it late piff vs early piff ...they're are both s1's from the same bagseed cut JJ used to make this pineapple "piff" line.
