Im a newbie, how do i figure all that out? I only have one tent
Look at the plants and see how they respond, if they show stress its usually best to back lights off, if they look healthy give them all the light. That's the best way I can describe it without getting technical.
My light is 240 watts i have it about 13 inches away and at 60% power. Should I change this?
Also how are they looking now? The plant in the middle i didn't have room for really,(keeping itvin there as an experiment till the other plants get to big) its looking blotchy, one of the other plants looks a little blotchy too what does that mean?
The other plants look fine, that plant is probably magnesium hungry which I've seen balance out later on. She will live!!
Try watering the plants slowly until each one has drops coming out of the bottom then wait until pots "dryback" aka are still a bit moist but almost dry and then repeat that same process. Once you get that dialed in the plants will be a lot happier, could be a little dry for them by the looks of it, if the roots aren't fully saturated they won't be able to uptake nutrients efficiently.
Also, another way you can boost magnesium & sulfur is add a small amount of Epsom Salts to your water. 1 teaspoon per gallon once a week mixed into your water should help keep your magnesium and sulfur levels good.
Just use PURE epsom salts, not scented stuff. Make sure the ingredients are "Magnesium Sulfate". you can buy it at a lot of stores.
Your plants are still young, they're going to show some imperfections while they establish themselves. It's rare to have a cutting that shows zero flaws start to finish but you being new I can understand and appreciate your care and concern for them. That is a good sign that you will be a good grower.
