Actually ... I've been taking mental stock of foods that "satisfy the munchies" - and that list has exploded these past few minutes. Whippets ... absolutely.

No I didn't go. All the events that they hold down here annoy me. We have a huge city and it's always downtown that's inconvenienced for weekend events.

Living way out in the sticks definitely has its advantages.
I never go downtown on holidays. Chicago holiday traffic can rival the best of them, I'm sure. And the marathons. So many road closures o.o

Bad traffic ain't just for the holidays. We have been stuck in the Eden's/Dan Ryan traffic shuffles too many times.

And in the specific case of the Honda Indy ... they totally close down Lakeshore Blvd for about a 1 week period. Practice runs, time trials and race qualifying in addition to the race itself. The Lakeshore is a well used secondary route into the downtown from the west end - what could go wrong?
Sure thing. But rush hours are more easily dodged, at least for me. Holidays the traffic is all day, vs like 4 hours in the morning, then a gap, and 4 hours in the evening.

I saw the had a deal on 2 of the bigger ones. I think it was $135 each if you bought 2. ...I wish it was for just 1.
Those are on my list of fav's....I bought a box of these over the weekend and made short work of them! And a jumbo Hershey's with almonds bar too
Yep, I started my grow over and just hung one up in a 3x3! We'll see which seeds aside from slymer and schromba pop. those lil guys were speedy!
I've been in Coco my problem comes from the outdoor green not burning off in early spring. Usually our temps go up in April/May, now I'm contending with 120 and dying greenery outside. saw my "new" back doctor this morning. I saw him from about 2010 -2017, but when he joined the hospital in 2017 things went downhill bigtime.
Today I saw his nurse practitioner, who said "yep, we can fuse those SI joints together the rest of the way". There's only 2 things that can be done for SI joints....injections of fuse them. She did order some genetic testing to rule out some common genetic thing....and I have an MRI scheduled for August 2, and then a follow up the end of August. So basically I am fu@@ed, just trying to see how badly with some fresh imaging.
Oh boy do I hate MRI's....I'll take many many xanax and have a driver.
